Story A Season In The Life Of.....................Me...!![C2005]

New to this story, but just read it all in one fell swoop! Great stuff Briggsy, maybe if you carry on like this you may have to do a story about Shaun Briggs as an England player..... (But maybe not an ODI player yet!)

Thanks for the comments guys! Zorax is right thats what I do, enables the focus to be just on Briggs whilst playing, which IMO is better and saves a lot more time!

I autoplay 5 overs each time, so autoplay 10-15 overs for the openers, then I bring myself on. I guess so far i have been lucky that none of my overs have been autoplayed but by doing it this way there are obvious risks so I do expect it to happen at some point but that cant be helped.

Hopefully you can expect Yorkshire to have won the first roses encounter of the season and a Briggs 5 wicket haul! :D :upray

Yorkshire Crush Lancashire To Take First Roses Clash
At Headingly

Yorkshire ran riot at Headingly today to claim victory in the first roses clash of the season, and improve their promotion hopes at the same time. An amazing bowling effort from the Yorkshire bowlers saw them bowl out Lancashire for 118 despite being frustrated at the end when Anderson and Hegg put on 28 in 2 hours, which gave Lancashire some hope. Shaun Briggs was the pick of the bowlers taking 5 wickets in what has been an amazing game for the youngster.

From Briggs View
The best bowling performance of the season from Briggs saw him pick up his first 5 wicket haul of the season. Briggs bowled brilliantly despite going for a few in his first spell, he came back with a bang in the second picking up 4 of the 5 he eventually took. Lancashire had no answer to Briggs' bowling and will be hoping they dont face him for a while!

Shaun Briggs 12-2-28-5
1st Spell
1st Over: 5 taken from Briggs opening over as Lancashire look to get on the attack
2nd Over: WICKET! Chilton attempts to play across the line, just like he did in the first over, but Briggs beat him for pace and he is struck straight infront of the stumps.
3rd Over: 2 from the over
4th Over: Single taken from the over
5th Over: 5 from the over as Lancashire look to consolidate the loss of early wickets
6th Over: Single from the over
7th Over: Briggs bowls his first no ball and Law hits him for 4 through the covers
End Of 1st Spell 7-0-25-1
2nd Spell
1st Over: WICKET! Briggs is back with a bang as his first ball draws and edge from Stuart Law which is caught brilliantly by a diving Jaques!
2nd Over: WICKET! Another one down as Briggs bowls Loye with a great ball which comes back in to him and cleans him up
3rd Over: WICKET! 3 in 3 as Cork this time goes edging straight to Jaques!
4th Over: Maiden over from Briggs as Yorkshire look to wrap things up
5th Over: WICKET! Briggs completes his first five for of the season as Murali is yorked

Stunning performance by Briggs and this confirms his transformation as a top allrounder in the longer version of the game. GOod going.

Great game! A century, a fifty, and a five-for! Doesn't get much better then that! Jesus, Lancs last innings was slow going wasnt it? They managed to take it right to the wire, you didnt have much time left....
