thread lookin good man, keep it up....
by the way, what does the OBW and other initials stand for in front of shoaib akhtar and other players' names?

Do you reckon, Briggs' performance in LOIs would improve if they were permitted to wear the test kit?

Yorkshire Take Advantage As Briggs Strikes Again
At New Road

Yorkshire will take a 72 run lead into their second innings as they bowled out Worcestershire for 233. After a firey opening start from opener Steven Moore, Worcestershire never looked like amassing a total over 300 as Yorkshire's bowlers kept them in line with some accurate and testing bowling. Zander de Bruyn was one of the only batsmen to show much resistance hitting a half century, but only 4 of the Worcestershire batsmen got into double figures, showing how well the Yorkshire bowlers bowled. Shaun Briggs was pick of them, taking his second 5 wicket haul in consecutive games, while there were also wickets for Harvey (2), Vaughan, Dawson and Hoggard (all 1).

From Briggs View
After a very expensive start, Briggs got on top of the Worcestershire batsmen, bowling some very fine deliveries to dismiss some high quality batsmen. In his five wicket haul, Briggs will probably most treasure the wicket of Graeme Hick, a formidable batsmen in the county game, and it took some very good bowling to get rid of him too. This performance shows that Briggs has matured into his role as all rounder in the team now, and he looks to be on course for a fantastic match yet again.

Shaun Briggs 17-2-57-5
1st Spell
1st Over: Briggs bowls a no ball straight up before Moore helps himself to 3 boundaries, expensive opening start for Briggs
2nd Over: Briggs bowls another no ball
3rd Over: WICKET! Moore is trapped LBW by Briggs, sweet revenge after being hit for a haul of boundaries earlier on. Maiden over
4th Over: Single taken from the over
5th Over: WICKET! Solanki gone this time, he was lucky to survive an earlier chance when he hit one just over McGrath, but from the final delivery he ducked to a ball which kept slightly lower, which in turn hit him on the arm and bounced back onto the wicket
6th Over: Hick helps himself to a boundary
End Of Spell 6-1-26-2
2nd Spell
1st Over: Hick helps himself to another 4 from the bowling of Briggs
2nd Over: WICKET! Big wicket as Briggs gets rid of the dangerous Hick, Hick smashes Briggs for 6 but the perfect reply from the bowler see's a fast yorker hitting Hick straight infront and plum LBW.
3rd Over: Smith hits a boundary through covers
4th Over: de Bruyn gets in on the act hitting Briggs away for 4
End Of Spell 4-0-21-1
3rd Spell
1st Over: Briggs bowls a maiden
2nd Over: Second consecutive maiden for Briggs
3rd Over: Kabir Ali hits a 4
4th Over: WICKET! A slower ball from Briggs see's Ali hit the ball straight in the air and straight into the hands of Dawson
5th Over: Two runs taken from the over
6th Over: More tight bowling from Briggs as the tail struggles to handle his pace
7th Over: WICKET! All over as Briggs claims his 5th wicket, sending down the perfect delivery to a tail ender to clean bowl Price

After some harsh treatment from Moore, Briggs strikes back with a debatable LBW decision, much to the delight of Briggs (Above/Below)

Solanki survived this chance

But is then out bowled later on in the over, unlucky dismissal

Briggs then claimed his 3rd wicket with some brilliant bowling to get rid of dangerman Hick

Kabir Ali was Briggs' 4th victim with a very soft dismissal

And after taking his 5th, Briggs and all his team mates were clearly delighted
