Stephen Fleming

Debut: On 19th March, 1994 against India at Hamilton

One of the best batsmen ever from New Zealand, Stephen Fleming holds the record of becoming the first New Zealander to score 7000 runs in test cricket. He was calm as a cucumber and hardly threw his wicket. Fleming certainly is a guy who brings a lot of stability to his team's batting unit. His stats are good but they still don't do justice to a player of his calibre.

Not just he contributes a lot with the bat but also has one of the safest pairs of hands on the field. Added to that, Fleming is certainly New Zealand's most successful captain till date and may lead my team too!

Stats:

M: 111 | I: 189 | Runs: 7172 | HS: 274* | Average: 40.06 | 100: 9 | 50: 46

A debate can be started on this :- who is worst Mcgrath or Martin. :p

On a serious note, I didn't really care about this. Mcgrath was already at 11 so I placed Martin at 10 but most likely Mcgrath will bat at 10. ;)

Either way, I don't think you'll be seeing too many big partnerships for the 9th and 10th wickets :D

Fleming's a nice pick, and as you say he adds a lot to the team that just his lazy looking batting. In my view I think he'd definitely be captain, no matter who else you get.

I don't have my captain, my wicket keeper yet. :( No genuine bowlers too. What the hell have I done? Probably missed a trick?

Shut up! Have you seen McGrath's bat video on Robelinda's youtube channel? Go see and then talk. :p

Look for others, I say. :p Seriously, were you expecting them to reach you?

Sure thing but my team hopefully will be good enough to make sure that they don't need runs from Martin and Mcgrath. :D :)

Just over 3 hours for Mohit to pick otherwise, cricket_icon can pick. Slowed down a bit, this.

Come on Shravi make a choice from Bangladesh/Zimbabwe. I have a good player in my mind. :D User will be quite excited about this round. :spy

I'm last to pick in the India round. :(

Saddest part of this draft, really. :p
