Yup. And lets be honest the user review section on metacritic is more helpful than the critics' section.

If they release a console version in this state they will be shooting themselves in the foot.

Maybe PC could put it on the front page or start a new thread so more members can mitigate the inevitable fake positive reviews from the publisher?

Then they might notice all the negative reviews coming via this site and remove them.

I'd suggest not reviewing it unless you've played it, it'll just seem suspicious otherwise.

Where does it get 'published'? I'm waiting for it to show up on the Highest and Lowest score page.. but it needs official reviews before that happens.

Seriously, Matt/Zim you should email Chief and Fegan, and say if they will not come here and explain their game, explain how they could go so wrong and mislead us so completely, you will ban them.

Chief has been going on about being involved in other cricket games since... Seriously, are you gonna let him come spinning yarns about those when the time comes? As I said before, write them an open letter asking the numerous questions, and give them a right of reply. Switch comments off if you think that would encourage them more... And if they're still too weasel to front up, ban their accounts.

It's pretty obvious me and CaptainOz often haven't seen eye to eye, but I have to say he clearly had Chief's number from the get go. Spot on.

I think to do that would be incredibly petty and meaningless. We're a third party, they don't owe us anything. Evidently, they didn't owe the people who paid for their game an actual PLAYABLE game of cricket, either. So I doubt banning them would achieve anything, other than make PC staff look a bit ridiculous.

We're the civilized ones... Lets keep that moral high-ground, yeah?

disagree. they have come on here, spouting rubbish, then cowardly slope off.

if PC say, look, the community isn't happy, what you have released doesn't sit with what you said before, we're keen to give you a right of reply... and they're still too cowardly to come back... well I think PC would be taking a stand and saying to them and future developers - don't come here to shill, come here to engage or don't bother.

I still feel a bit of sympathy for Chief, he seems like a really nice guy.
Mike seems like someone who dreamt too big and has to deal with the consequences.
Hope they both come back and offer an explanation one day though
