I hope we're going with the Batsmen cam again with optional TV cam if needed. Its the way to go forward with cricket games. IC10 had the right idea but it was nearly impossible to judge fast deliveries. A few tweaks and Batsmen cam can work well. Some inspiration can also be taken from EA/2k's MLB games.

The game name is Ashes 2013, its been said the more emphasis is on Ashes so I think the answer is no.

Thanks for the answer chief. It is nice to see a developer finally listening and responding to the fans. Career mode may have been the X factor for this game but well executed stats tracking and variety in tournament/seasons mode will go a long way in increasing longevity. I hope developers see the value in those things.
Don't quote me on this, but I *think* I'm right in saying that there will be more stadiums than ever, and PLENTY of Asian representation... Certainly there's a big old list!
Can't confirm that just yet as some are not yet finalised... But soon.

We're still working on ways to accommodate this: well aware of the need for something a bit longer-term...
I just wanted to nip any "Be-A-Pro-esque" heavily licensed "career" mode thoughts in the bud now before people let their imaginations run wild...

We just want to feel like we are having some progress while playing and the progress to be recorded and feel we have achieved something. Be-A-Pro is definitely the upper limit to that but we wouldn't mind starting out with just a tour/season mode.

Atleast we can have sort of WWE Universe mode which is just a normal mode with some fancy random stuff going to make it look like career mode , I mean you can have endless amount of random tours(say 3 odis 2 test match 1 T20) being generated b/w all the test playing nation again and again and give user the option to either participate in any of them and simulate rest of them and stats of players and teams then getting an update.
Let me clarify
When you click on the universe mode you are presented with randomly generated 5 slots each time
slot 1 (Pak vs Ind tour :3 ODis ,2 Test , 1 T20)
Slot 2 (Zim vs Aus tour :2 ODi , 1 Test , 1 T20)
Slot 3 (Sri VS Wi tour : 5 Odis , 3, Test ,3 T20)
Slot 4 (Ban vs Nz tour : 3 Odis , 3 Test , 1 T20)
Slot 5 (Saf vs Eng tour :5 Odis , 3 Test , 1 T20)
And user having an option to participate in any one of the slot and customize it according to own taste (say change the 3 ODis to 5 Odis , 1 T20 to 3 T20 etc) and simulate rest of the slots. After all 5 slots being simulated/played the stats should be updated and we are presented with another set of 5 randomized slot with different teams , different/random amount of ODis , Test and T20 in each slot.
More over there could be player ranking and team ranking system which could be updated each time after the completion of all the 5 slot which should be reset again after 25 slots being completed so as to not overwhelm the ranking system.
This is a poor man's career mode but surely is not difficult to implement at all.
Edit : There can be tri-series , Qudrangular tournament and 8-teams knock out tournament in these slots as well.

And being able to save an online game! Lets not forget that! Don't have time or concentration levels to play a test all in one sitting. 
It can't be hard to save/restart an online game just as you would an AI game!
