playing on v1.01.0363, a bit annoyed right now (though the game is really great).
Playing as England vs Australia, i noticed the problem of the pitch not deteriorating. So, after 45 overs, they are 130-0, and almost nothing happened for me.
Then i miss a bat pad chance from Moeen bowling, and the next over finally a great edge to first slip from Woakes (standard delivery, seam to the right, slow ball trigger). However, the next ball the batsman is still
there. I thought there was not this problem with this version? Guess i will update to 1.05.

I am a PC player. Waiting for the game on steam. I have one question. Does the pitches show any variations and deterioration right from first day to fifth day in test matches .

No, but apparently it changes character even if you can't see it.

If I'm not mistaken I think @WealeyH said the deteriation shows up on PC, so maybe it's just a console issue?

Please can somebody explain how count back works?

In career mode, when a match is a draw it says team?? won on count back. It's not a term I'm familiar with in cricket. I'll hold my hands-up and admit I haven't overly analysed the scorecards to figure it out. Is it just to do with total wickets lost or runs divided by wickets or... ?

Having three-day games as well as 50-over and T20 is so much better than just slogging away at T20 for years!

I've been noticing since the patch the AI are behaving more like DBC17. Lobbed catches to the infield, very little in the way of bowled or edges. Certainly no LBWs. I didn't want this patch and it's infuriating that you can't go back. 1.03 behaved just as I wanted it to. Maybe it's just me as nothing was mentioned about changes to the AI.

What were the wickets like? I don't know where Khawaja fields. Also the AI should do badly sometimes if it's to be realistic imo, especially in 2nd innings.

yea i dont want to jump to any conclusions, but 3 of them were attempted pull shots caught at mid wicket, 1 was a glance to forward square leg, and 1 was a miss-timed straight drive to short mid-wicket

AI vs AI? If so Ross did mention that it wasnt created with AI vs AI at all..

I hope AI loses some reviews as well and is not always correct in taking the DRS

It did happen to me yesterday in 50 overs ODI match. Australian leggie Zampa had a close shout at LBW & they took a review but it was marginally missing offstump and they ended up loosing their only review available around 27th over. That moment was so exciting to wait for the decision.

A bit of both. He said that in 17 and the AI sucked with bowling in mind as well.

I'm sure it's just me but 1.03 felt great (apart from some dodgy runouts). It's just annoying that stuff gets released hurredly to appease people at short notice and you are stuck with it if changes create more problems.
