Twice I've seen Manly viewing the thread but not posting anything. Add that to his no lynch on day 1 and I'm a bit suspicious.

I'm in agreement with there probably being two mafia and a serial killer, three mafia and an individual would just be too much.

From what some of you guys have posted there seems to be a bit of confusion around User's character, Alex Drake. SHE is a female cop from the TV series Ashes to Ashes. Therefore I don't see the fourth paragraph relating to User at all, as she was already killed and is says "HE was the last MAN left in the bar".

Based on the "She was rightly suspicious of the quiet man" I think that User probably investigated someone and he got back a positive result, and also his ghost post adds to that theory a bit. Obviously I'm assuming that he's the cop, but going on that we could go down the road of who we think he might've investigated. His day one posts were:

The last para suggests to me that there is some sort of survivor role as it says why would he? But, can't make out anything from the woman...

The man who likes to make an entrance seems interesting as it raised eyebrows. Maybe an unexpected role or a character which does not fit the theme?

But again, what actually is the theme? The song thing or Ashes cricket?

Well, I think that is a scummy post (defense) from WC having played with him in earlier game(s). He usually posts that sort of things when mafia iirc. Then again, it can all be his lack of mafia games experience or something like that.

As I said earlier, he sounds like a mafia to me from that post. But, I doubt his partner would allow him to post all that. Anyways I will wait for his response now that there are some pressure votes on him before I arrive at any conclusion.

On another note, swirler asking him indirectly for a claim or more info is interesting... A mafia wanting an easy claim from an inexperienced player maybe? Just pointing it out!

His main target on day one was WC, but interesting he also mentioned swirler. The easy route for him would've been just to investigate WC which would match-up with his posts, and the only other person he publicly posted about was swirler. So based on that he was genuinely trying to help the town I assume that if he noticed anything else he would've posted about it, so I'm thinking that he investigated one of WC or swirler.

Her protagonist can also refer to a character in the TV series, right?

Ray Carling in the TV series can be the serial killer. He's one of the protagonists. He is described as a sexist, racist and homophobic. Not sure of his role in the series though.

Yeah OK Alex Drake being a cop sounds right to me, unless Colin decided that would be too obvious and changed it to something else.

Another possibility is that it wasn't a role User had, it was a thought he had on day 1 to go after either swirler or WC as CG said that made him "right to go after the quiet man". Perhaps the quiet man was WC as he posted very little?

But then again his ghost post suggests maybe he did use his role and found a Mafia member or something last night.

I don't really know, this one still confuses me. Not sure where to go from here, but I still want to see if WC will say anything.

Also I think maybe WC should be replaced or something?

Our three reserves are Abhas (too busy), hedger (on holiday) and neerdas (less experienced than WC).
I can see if anyone else who plays is active but bit stuck otherwise.

Where do we go from here then chaps? I'm still in favour of applying pressure to WC and see if we can't unearth something, ANYTHING that we can use to get a lynch now or later in the game.

If we have no-one to lynch, may as well lynch off WC. Even if he is town, he won't add anything to our game. Even if he has a powerful role, he won't use it properly or he won't report back properly.
