OK before I go any further there are only a few possibilities regarding Varun. Not sure if this has been posted yet I haven't read far enough yet but I want to say it now. While a 3-man Mafia team is perhaps possible, I think a 2-man team if more likely. When you take into account the fact that the Godfather comes up as innocent to a sane cop, then unless one of CG or Abhas is a miller, Varun in all possibility isn't sane, or is lying, as only one man in a 2-man Mafia team will come up guilty. I think the former is more likely as his play just seems genuine bad townie play to me more than Mafia play. He also isn't going aggressively after these results which makes it more likely that he is unsure about them and less likely to be a lying Mafioso. So IMO that most likely clears CG and Abhas to some extent from my view up to where I am.

Also User was probably a cop and two sane cops seems unlikely. Looking at his character as well I had a brief skim and insane cop seems more likely than paranoid cop.

Another thing I noticed, Simon seems to have seriously misunderstood the write-up.

The intention was to follow the larger than life character. When it came down to it the message said ?blocked?.

If he is telling the truth this could be referring to him and not "She was rightly suspicious" as he suggests.

Ste usually has no trouble with write-ups so unless they have deliberately come out with the idea to make Simon look like a true newbie, by ste even answering Simon's question, I don't think they can be a team.

For that matter, I'm sure if Simon was Mafia, WC wouldn't be his partner as that would be a very newbie-style Mafia team that would struggle. And if anyone else was his partner, they would tell him not to post such posts where he makes mistakes analysing the write-up and is not sure how to claim and what not. From my experience reading the Mafia QTs in the past, they'd ask that sort of thing in the QT in that case, unless they are deliberately trying to stage something.

I feel with their claims I'm slightly convinced that Varun and Simon are probably not Mafia.

Re this, if you don't have a night role then surely now is as good a time as ever to post what you know based on what you have found? Or are you just waiting until everyone has posted etc.

I don't have a night role. I do have a bulletproof vest however, which makes me immune to one night kill.
I was trying to understand whether is was the blocking/doc protection that had prevented the kill, or that I was targeted.

I think I believe Simon, because his claim seems to match with the writeup. Bit concerned about Manly and Ste. I haven't understood half of what they are trying to say.
CG gives me the town vibes, so I'm not ready to believe Varun's claim so easily. Varun on the other hand has given me the anti-town vibes.

Varun's claim is very much true IMO. No reason why it shouldn't be, his results just mean very little since he is insane/paranoid.

All right I've read through the rest and while Varun could be telling the truth I feel there are still some oddities about his play and his claim which other people have brought up so I'm still a bit undecided on him.

Between ste and Manly, I'm more inclined to believe Manly. Ste's story still seems more inconsistent and his posts have been flaky all game.

CG and swirler have been looking town all game and I think Simon can be added to that list now as well.

I'm not sure why Abhas being miller would cause him to interpret things differently to RPHKR, that is quite odd IMO...

WC hasn't posted since Saturday and before that his previous post was Thursday... He needs to be replaced and if not that then he should be modkilled, he has been visiting the forum but not playing. He isn't playing so just get rid of him whatever way possible. We have to keep factoring him in when making posts about the status of the game which is annoying since he is doing nothing.

Unless he has been muted or something. I vaguely remember someone mentioning someone possible getting poisoned in a write-up analysis, maybe that's WC getting muted? Not sure because it's puzzling that he wouldn't be dealt with after so long.

Yeah so I don't have much to add in terms of analysis but I thought it'd be better if I let my thoughts me fully known.

Being a miller doesn't make me interpret things differently.. two individuals could interpret things differently anyway.
In past games, we've seen a lot of new players unable to play the Miller role properly, and end up looking scum for no reason.

I tend to read games from a neutral perspective, which gives me a better insight than when I try reading it from a town or mafia perspective. This also puts more people under my suspicion.

Apart from this, I think the bulletproof vest he had would have allowed RHPKR to be a bit reckless in his play, knowing, if he becomes a target for the mafia, he might end up saving a night kill for the town.

All this is ofcourse speculation, that I think might have been. I've had no contact with him about his gameplay, nor do I intend to.

Coming to think of it, maybe WC's the godfather? His inactivity might explain the missed night kill because he did not send in his role.

Ste and Manly just haven't been convincing enough in their claims.
