Hats off to Malik for his performance but Sehwag scripted Indias win and played at a MUCH faster pace than Malik and that too under the pressure of chasing. Malik was brilliant but Sehwag was better. Being so biased will make you lose respect from this community I suppose... and obviously you will say that you are concerned only about the final because Pakistan lost this game. Had they won it, you would have been on cloud 9.

Yeah, He's a batting all-rounder. He isn't really known for his bowling if you see his domestic stats. He only started bowling in the Twenty20's.

Malik and Sehwag play for different teams(quite obvious
). Sehwag plays for India...a team that won't be effected by the loss of Sehwag earlyon in the innings...Although if Shoaib Malik got out early, the full batting line up would be under huge pressure. So considering this fact, Malik was under more pressure than Sehwag was. Although most people will not agree with me...

I just think Shoaib Malik played for longer, made more runs then Sehwag and he played a Captains Inning
...but still Sehwag hit 5 sixes more then him so he wins

Malik played an innings that was superb at that time. Sehwag played an innings in less pressure then Malik because Malik had to show something to be still considered a player, let alone the captain of the side.
To me Malik isn't the best Captain. He doesn't seem to do much with his players. He looks timid and doesn't even try to lead from the front on the field. Sure he's a decent batsman, but he's not exactly captain material.
I think Afridi would be a great captain because of his aggressiveness.
