Yes, as @Villain or @Till Valhalla always say, they over rely on Rashid. He is a champ bowler but like today if played sensibly like how these two have played can cause no destruction. All credit to Imam and Babar, they played him well showed patience and took on other bowlers. Azam always impressed me but Imam has played really well.

I wonder if Rohit will bat Dhoni at #4 for the next game. He can be perfect at 4, he can rotate the strike well, play aggressively if he needs to and also to settle down and play conservatively. Still good to see Dhoni being tried at 4. I bet if Kohli was captain, this wouldn't have happened.

Jaddu looked rusty in his first over, but bowled beautifully after that. I hope he can give some competition to Pandya, it's time Pandya needs to be put under some pressure considering he's had the most security out there, he needs to step up and put out some good performances when he returns.

Not just Rashid, Afghanistan rely too heavily on spinners to do most of the damage. They need some solid pace bowlers who possesses that wicket taking ability. The new ball seams a lot more under the lights and Afg need genuine fast bowlers for that job. They basically have one genuine bowler and an all-rounder in the seam stocks. I'd be interested to see how they would fare in somewhere like SA or Aus on spicy decks. Probably somewhere near to how Bangladesh performed when they toured SA.

Yet another failure from Sarfaraz, today was the opportunity to guide Pakistan through. Everything depends on Malik now. Love how he has come back to the side and plays so maturely. Sarfaraz must ask himself this question, is my job only to captain and keep? I need to start contributing with bat.

Shoaib Malik still finds a way to sporadically pull a performance like that out the bag. Massive doubts about the middle order but he used his experience and cool head to bring it home.
Poor fielding from both sides, especially on Pakistan's part allowing them to surpass 250.

Valiant effort by Afghanistan, I can feel for Rashid Khan who played his heart out. In the end I wanted Afghanistan to some how win, but Malik's experience and some very ordinary medium pace bowling costed Afghanistan this match.
Afghanistan needs to find couple of genuine quick/swing bowlers and another technically sound batsman and they can be world beaters. I can see them in top 3 consistently if they some how find these players and I am sure they can.

Afghanistan is turning out to be the most improved cricket team in the last one year or two. They have clearly surpassed Bangladesh with their quick progresssion rate. Still long way to go.

Afghanistan so far played at the road of Abu Dhabi Only but their real test coming vs india on sporting wicket of Dubai.

I think afghanistan should take revenge of their Ultimate humiliation of banglore test were they were dismissed twice in two consecutive session - test defeat in 2 days.

I wish Aftab might left out during next outing on Tue vs india but credit to Malik and Pakistan for chasing 258 succesfully.

Imrul and Sarkar are much better option than Litton and Shanto. Neil McKenzie need to work on Soumya Sarkar. Sarkar need to remember that he has all batting skills, it time for performance. Imrul is much more reliable. They are capable and experienced. After the inclusion of Sarkar and Imrul, hope bangladesh tigers will roar again.
