Asia Cup March 2011/12

:spy ahhh has anyone stopped you? :p

I am really excited we are back in our own conditions. We need to play like champions of our conditions and prove that each team is a champion at home and a cat away

The reason why Indian fans are optimistic about Sachin is, his batting flow suggests that he is not exactly out of form but is more 'out of luck'. His batting flow in the tests in Australia had looked very promising and raised hopes of that 100th ton. His form tapered during the CB series, but again not the kind of batting where you would say "he looks totally out of touch". And that last innings against SL at Hobart where he scored a cameo of 39 showed that he can still be a very dangerous player when he is attacking. In subcontinent conditions, I expect him to be more attacking and that could fetch him lot of runs against SL and Pakistan too.

He (Sachin) needs to forget about the 100 and play. That is what he did in the last ODI..of that epic chase. He was playing like an 18yr old. Beautiful shots...! He gets nervous about that 100 whenever he steps into play. Screw the 100, play like a champ!

----------

Because i feel bad for Young players who don't get chances while they can do better than the old one.It was a general opinion.Every player has it's time .Its not that Sachin is gonna play forever.I want sachin to retire with some dignity not like what he's doing atm

And please be sensible and don't take things as a war.I dont know when people will start thinking positively?

if sachin is indian it's not that only indians can comment about it.Sachin is loved all over the world and you can't stop anybody to comment about him whether it is about his batting or his future.

Sorry in my behalf. That is why I deleted my comment but you had it quoted before that :)

Hahahahha... Ajmal will sort him out pretty quick Insha-ALLAH :) He can go for this against bangladesh

The same Ajmal who claimed an LBW against Tendulkar in that World Cup match that was not out, and still harps on about how it was out to his eye?

Sachin will treat Ajmal like a piece of cake. And I dont need to call Rama or Krishna or any other Hindu god for it to happen. :p:yes

You can call whomever you want to call, after all its your choice.

I dont want to go back to that match but you brought it back so I will once more what I said last year that It was a straighter ball and it was plum OUT!!!

Regarding the piece of cake treatment, well we will see... maybe Sachin will got out before the arrival of Ajmal LOL.

And dont call Hindu god or what ever god, As there is Only ONE GOD (ALLAH).. The Oneness of GOD (ALLAH) proof are available even in your scriptures.

Dont want to be involve in such discussion but it was necessary to give you a reply. :)

One god has pics of him with girls and cows. The other sends bombers for depicting. Both are fine with people killing each other. I refuse to believe either. There is NO GOD. But India will win.

I feel Rehan's posts were better off than this above one.:facepalm

Though have plenty to throw it back to you but well anyhow,

Tendulkar stucking big time against quality bowling off-late, having him in the team is not good for the Indian Team future not even to his own-self. I think its time for his retirement. Let him be retire as a Great, dont put so much pressure on him :thumbs

Pakistan has a superb balanced-side I suppose though still I wanted to have Nazir as the opening batsman in order to thrash some bowlers out there like he did many times particularly against India he gave good starts, but anyhow He isnt there at the moment. India will struggle against Pakistan's bowling big time.

And by bringing Nazir in, how many wickets thrower do you want in our team? There are 2 atm(Umar,Afridi) which are enough

----------

Come on guys forget those old failure faces now

@Paki, He proved that in BPL, atleast he should have been in the Reserves, His temperament level has been improved a lot still he is maintaining his strike rate, plus age does not matter, if you are performing you should be selected on merit.

Okay I may agree in ODIS for some sake but his place in T-20 has always been undisputable.

Well don't know about Pakistani selectors but BPL is not the standard to pick the team.He had performed in 2 ICL seasons, came back and failed again if my memory is not wrong

Nazir was performing well in T-20, Just failed in 3 T-20's and he was thrown out of the team out of 1 was against Australia in Australia where he was run out in the first over of Nannes

I am not of the view of many people and critics saying that he got lot of opportunities, He didnt get as much opportunities as lot of exisiting players got IMO.

When did Afridi become a failure? Pakistan's biggest danger other than India is Misbilah and runrate.

Also when did BPL become an yardstick for performance

We got white washed away but we are still good at Sub Continent pitches. If you have such a good balanced side then why get white washed by England?
And would love to see India struggle against Pakistan whose got a weak pace attack and Indians aren't similar to the blocks who play like smashed pie against the spin attack.

I don't want to underestimate anyone, may the best team win.
