Australia roll Bangladesh

Australia have over powered the Bangladesh side once again to pick another victory out of the basket. Bangladesh who had to chase a score of 218 which was easily do-able, just couldn't find the players to do so. Bangladesh endded up 191 all out at the end of the day, loosing by 27 runs, so well done to the Bangladesh side in the end, getting as close as they did to this wonderful cricket team.

The Tail end for Bangladesh was the problem. The last 5 players only could manage a total score of 14 runs between them, which would be something the Bangladesh coach will be working on in the not so near future. And Javed Omar really buggered them up aswell, being a opening batsmen, people are looking for you rto score big runs, but Omar went out, without even getting a run and only facing 3 balls. But things did look good when Bashar and Nafees were together, but they couldn't keep up the work themselves. Nafees went on to make 34 and Bashar went on to make 59 from 95 balls. Islam was good aswell getting 30 and his brother M. Islam was ok aslo notching up 28. But other than that, Bangladesh really struggled.

Australia's bowling attack was very good. Shaun Tiat came back strong. After being smashed around alot by Nafees and Bashar in his 1st spell, he came back and bowled with perscision. Shaun Tait, in the last over that he bowled, picked up 3 wickets in play, but it wasn't a hat-trick, but he did mess up the Bangladesh lower order. Tait bowled 7 overs, 1 Maiden, 44 runs and taking 3 wickets. Spinner Stuart MacGill also founded form and picked up 3 wickets. MacGill bowled 8 overs, no Maidens, 30 runs for 3 wickets, and he really needed that performance to keep in this Australian side. Michael Clarke came in also, and picked off 2 wickets himself, while Cameron White and Brett Lee picked 1 wicket. So all Australian bowlers get a wicket, just something they would be proud of.

Thats unbelievable loss for Bangla :( Great match though.... I will still say, Well done Bangla :p

Bad loss for Bangladesh. The tail did shocking, and Omar should have done better. Bashar held good resitance and could have nearly got Bangladesh home!

Once again a sweet victory for us, Bangla played well and now becoming threats for any team :)

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and welcome to the Cricket. Today we are here to preview the match between Bangladesh and Australia in the 2nd One Day International at Chittagong on the 26th of April.
Now we wil have a look at the Australian side they have picked today, and there has been only 1 change to the match, which was a suprise as Cameron White is out of the team, and all rounder Shane Watson has come into the side. Australia have kept Staurt MacGill for this match after talks where that he was going to be dropped after a training incident but nothing happened recarding that incident.

Well Australia have beaten Bangladesh in the 3 last matches they have played. The 1st Test Match, Australia won by 6 wickets and really dominated the Bangladesh team. The 2nd Test Match was alot closer then what alot expected, but Australia again won the match this time by 3 wickets. And the 1st One Day International, just 3 days ago, Australia won a close match, winning by 27 runs against the Bangladesh. By recent form, this match is going to produce a very close match.

Now we are joined by Mark Nicholas down on the ground, and Mark, what are the weather down there. "Yeah well thankyou, and welcome everyone. The weather down here is very good. Beautiful start to the day and it looks like it's going to be a perfect day for Cricket. The pitch is in great form. There will be alot of bounce in this match, so some good news for the quicker bowlers, as they will be looking to give the bouncer a go this match. The outfield, as i walked on it just 10 minutes ago, and it looks very fast, so whatever balls gets down there, it will be quick and hit the boundary fast.

Now lets have a look at the toss. So Australia have been called to call the toss, and Ponting picks heads. The coin shows heads, and Ponting chooses to bat 1st. So Ponting, what made you bat 1st?. Well it looks to be a good pitch oout there, and Haydos and Gilly want to get out and have a bit of a bat early, they feel to be in good form, so we are looking to get out early and make a mass score for Bangladesh to chase down, no doubt about that. Well thankyou Punter, and good luck.

Australia batting first again... Nevermind, Bangla will chase this time :)

Haydos and Gilly want to get out and have a bit of a bat early

Australia In Bangladesh
Bangladesh vs Australia - 2nd One Day International
20 overs gone

Hello ladies and Genltmen and welcome back to the studio, and it has been 20 overs gone from the match this afternoon between Bangladesh and Australia. Bangladesh have gotten off to a great start to this match. Bangladesh who have lost the past 3 outtings between these 2 teams, have come out firning in the field today and have gotten off to a great start. Now Bangladesh have only taken the 1 wicket in 2 hours of play, but they have kept Australia from scoring a huge score at this stage. 20 overs gone, and people were thiknking Australai would of been atleast in the 70's, but Australia have just managed to get 37. Bangladesh have enjoyed this few overs of play, but it got alot better with the last ball of the 20th over, when Sunny bowled to Adam Gilchrist. Gilchrist played the shot, but it missed timed of the bat and went down and was caught by by Hossain

Australia would be dissapointed in the start they have faced with. But now they have Ricky Ponting fresh after the lunch break, and Ponting who has been in great form over the last couple of weeks, will be looking to save his team again with another winning display. Bangladesh will have other things on mind for Ponting and will be trying to get him out early, to save themselves from Ponting. Matty Hayden is still at the crease and he is taking a while to get going. Hayden has made 20 from 55 balls and has hit the only boundary for the match, so Australia struggling a bit here against Bangladesh.

cricket2007050717355571zh7.jpg

Bangladesh couldn't be any happier then they are at the moment. They have kept Australia from a huge score and they have taken a wicket of a dangerous player earliy up. Adam Gilchrist was the player that was dimissed by Sunny and caught by Hossain who took an easy catch. But the Bangladesh bowlers have spreaded it around alot. 4 bowlers have already been used, with all bowlers bowling 5 overs each. All bowlers have been going for around 1 or 2 runs per over, so something the Bangladesh people would be happy about. Like we said, Sunny has taken the only wicket at this stage, but Bangladesh will be hoping to get some more early just after lunch.

Thankyou ladies and Gentemen, we will be back when Australia's batting Innings has finished. Hope to see you soon.

Is this one day or test  i think players needed to get remind that this is one day :p
