Australia have found a way to again produce a resaonable score against Bangladesh in the 2nd One Day International. Australia who looked in trouble early, found some players that really hitted the ball with some power, which gave them a lead of 182 at then end of 50 overs. At 3 runs per over, Bangladesh would be happy with this scorline, and should be thinking that they can have a chance at winning this match.

Australia got off to a staggery start. They were playing this match just like it was a Test Match, and played balls, with blokcs and tiny little hits. It wasnt till 2 wickets were down that Australia decided to put the pettle to the metal. Matthew Hayden and Michael Clarke said enough was enough, and really got Australia going. Matthew Hayden who started to get frasturated with Bangladesh bowlers, decided to kick off his anger 1st and started to belt the ball around with sheer strength. Matthew Hayden reached his 50, and was very happy to reach the milestone. But it wasnt a great celebration, as he turned back into the angry power hitting man, and went after the Bangladesh spinners this time. Michael on the other hand followed him into the big hitting mode.
Hayden who was going beautifully, ended a great Innings, when Hayden walked down the pitch towards Hasan when he bowled, and was standing way out of his crease, Hayden missed the ball completely, and the keeper Rahim took the ball in the gloves and stumped Hayden before he could be safe. What a stellar Innings from Matty Hayden, 78 from 108 balls including 9 four's.
Michael Clarke and Andrew Symonds saw out the 50 overs for Australia, with Clarke playing well getting 42 from 67 ballls and hitting 5 boundaries along his way.

Bangladesh bowlers were good early, but did drop the bungle around the 35th-45th over mark of the match. Hasan, Sunny and Islam took a wicket each, they were only 3 wickets gone for Australia, and those were the 3 bowlers that picked them up. All bowlers were good, maybe except Rahman who was going at more than 5.70 runs per over, and M. Islam who was going at 5.20 runs per over, something they will be working on in the near future.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and welcome back to the studio. You have just been watching the cricket, and Bangladesh have started well in their Innings against Australia. The 2 opening batsmen for Bangladesh, Nafees and Javed Omar, have really stepped up and have given Bangladesh the best possible start. Bangladesh are 88 for 1 at the 20th over mark, and it is drinks here at the ground, so we thought we will give you some information about the opening 20 overs of play. Javed Omar has made his 50 during this time. Omar and Nafees have put on a 87 run partnership between them without loosing a wicket, until Nafees was out played by Shane Watson who came back into the side after missing the last One Day Match, Watson, who bowled his 1st over, finally found the breakthrough against Nafees and clean bowled him, taking Australia's 1st wicket of the Innings. Nafees played some good cricket out their today, making 32 from 4 balls and hitting 5 boundaries.

But his partner, Javed Omar was the one to watch for Australia. Omar was reluctent to go after Stuart Clark. Omar who i said earlier made his 50 during this time, has been very good, and Australia will be looking to get his wicket early after this drink break, because he is looking a danger, and if he doesnt get early, he could go on and make a century and probably further on. Omar at the drink break is sitting on 52 from 73 balls, including 7 boundaries along way.

Australia's bowling has been reasonable. They would certainly like more wickets at this stage of the match, but they have only taken the 1, so they need to restructure their play and field, and see if they can get 3-4 wickets early in the next couple of overs. Brett Lee has been consistant for Australia, bowling 5 overs and only going for 9 runs. Like we said, Stuart Clark has been the most expensive. Bowling 5 overs and going for more than 6.60 runs per over. Bangladesh has hit 33 runs from his 5 overs. But Shane Watson has been good. Bowling 5 overs going for 17 runs and taking the only wicket of the match for Australia.
