Australia in Bangladesh
Banglades vs Australia Test Match 2
Lunch, Day 1

Australia grab flying Start.

With now a lot of responsobility from the Bangladesh to order with the wicket of Omar in the 1st session of play, players like Nafees, Bashar and Islam need to build a good score in this next couple of hours. But it wasnt to be for the Bangladesians, they were out played by a determined Australian side. H.Bashar has the worst possible start, going for 0 after 5 balls. Brett Lee the wicket taker again and Matty Hayden at slip taking the woderful catch.

Brett Lee strikes again

But things didnt stop their for Bangladesh. M. Islam came out to the crease and for once put some respectability into the Bangladesh score line. But no one was helping him much. R. Saleh came out to the crease aswell, and only he could face 2 balls before he was back in the pavillion, this time Shaun Tait the bowler and Matty Hayden having a good day in the field taking his 2nd catch of the match. Australia looking the goods here with 2 players not making a score in the 1st Innings for Bangladesh.
But Bangladesh have steady a little coming into the lunch break. With both Islam and Islam the brothers playing beautifully. Islam is just 5 runs away from making another half century, and Bangladesh will be hopoing he can go on to making a century, only if he can stay there and if anyone wants to help him achieve that goal. Islam is 45 from 70 balls and hitting 5 boundaries along the way, most of those runs have come from Stuart Clark and Shaun Tait as Islam went after those 2 players early, but has now settled down to try and make his 50 before he does anything else.

Australia's bowlers have been the key early. Even though just 2 of them have taken wickets, it has been a good spread of varitey by Australia used early against Bangladesh. Brett Lee and Shaun Tait have been the 2 players that have taken wickets at the current time, but will be looking for Watson and Mitch Johnson (making his Test debut) to have a bowl after lunch and see if they can run down this Bangladesh batting order and see if they can have a bat before the tea break, and if not defiently in the final session of todays play. Mitch Johnson the new boy has bowled 3 overs and gone for 12 runs, with just 4 runs per over, so going along nicely in his 1st hit out in a Test match, replacing Nathan Bracken who is injured and out for 3 weeks.

Nice presentation :clap

Btw, for the first time i came to know from this that there are Islam bro for Bangladesh. hmm... Bangla have started badly with 4 wickets so soon. Atleast another 50 run partnership needed now :)

Shaun Tait is too quick for Bangladesh

Tail Enders help Bangladesh again

The Tail enders have again decided to make Bangladesh's main part of their score against Australia in the Test Match.
After a stinging start to the match, Australia were hoping to get the rest of the party out early with the quicks
bowling superbly, but the Bangladesh tail enders wouldnt let this happen again. Bangladesh just had the
worst start possible to the match, with 2 main players not even scoring a run
Bashar and Saleh being ruled out before they could make an impact on the game.
But just like the 1st Test match, Australia let their guard down again nearing the final stages of the batting
line-up for Bangladesh, and the tail enders took the advantage of the Australian bowlers who would of been tired
after a day's work in the field.
"I dont know wether its our fitness or what it is, we always seem to loose concerntration at the end of the day's
play", said Australian coach Shane Warne.
And now, we are at the tea break at the moment, with Australia still needing 3 wickets before they can have a bat
will be looking to maybe take the new ball, if it will be available, get the quicks back into the action and see
if they can take those 3 wickets they need to get off to a flying start with the bat.

Aussies keen to try young kid

Shane Warne has told Sky Sports that he will be giving Mitchell Johnson a better bowl in the 2nd Innings of the 2nd
Test Match in a few days time. "He is a good young kid, and has the potential in getting some wickets and damaging
the opposition, so we are going to give him a good and proper bowl in the 2nd innings" said Shane Warne.
Johnson, who is making his Test Debut as we speak, already took a wicket in his 1st Innings in Australia colours
with the wicket of Islam, Johnson has bowled 9 overs to this stage, with 2 Maidens, gone for a reasonable 26 runs
and has taken that 1 wicket so far up to the tea break at day 1 in the Test Match. Brett Lee, Shaun Tait and Michael Clarke
have been the Aussies best bowlers with 2 wickets each and will be looking to add to their totals with Bangladesh
still having 3 wickets in hand.

Bangladesh score BIG

Bangladesh have shown Australia they wont be a push over this time around in the 2nd Test Match between themselves and Australia. Lead by Rahim and Islam, Bangladesh ppsted a huge score for Australai to chase down in the 2nd Day. Rahim was birlliant for the Bangladeshians scoring 69 and Islam also scored 55 for the Innings to take Bangladesh to a total score of 263. For tthe Aussies it was Shaun Tait the leading bowler with 3 wickets, while Andrew Symonds picked up 2 late wickets, late in the 1st Day.

With the score being 4 wickets down with less then 50 runs on the board, Bangladesh needed their middle order to stand up, and with Islam and Rahim providing that spark, Bangladesh would be happy, going into their bowling session being nearly 300 runs ahead of Australia., Islam was good, hitting 55 from 79 balls and hitting 7 boundaries, all 4's along the way. But it was Rahim that shone for Bangladesh in this Innings. The middle order player, hit 69 from 168 balls, while hitting 9 boundaries. Rahim took a while to get in action, but he took his time and knew if he made a good score, then Bangladesh would be looking at 250-300 tops. Rafique was also good for Bangladesh making 39 from 104 balls and hitting 3 boundaries, close to the end of the board, but the day went to Bangladesh who will be happy with what they are seeing,

For Australia, it was a blistering start, Brett Lee was outstanding in the 1st few hours of the day. Lee who tok 2 early wickets, set the mood for Australia early. They were 4-40 at one stage and were looking to blow Bangladesh out of the water with another himiliation loss, and teach them that they are the best cricket team in the world. But things just started going wrong for Australia from then on in. Bangladesh were doing everything right, and the luck wasnt helping aswell, so many balls missed the stumps by less then a inch, and alot of LBW decisions that could of been called out, were not, so Australia didnt have a good day in the field. Matthew Hayden did taking 3 catches, but other then that, sad day for Australia. Good signs when they did get the wickets tho, with Shaun Tait picking up 3 wickets, Lee, Clarke and Symonds taking 2 wickets each. Youngster Mitchell Johnson picked up his 1st Test Match wicket for Australia, while Watson and Clark didnt pick up a wicket in this innings and would be hoping to get one next time they have to bowl.

yeah well it will be tough i rekon. The way the Aussies played in the 1st Test. Even tho we won, it will be difficult chasing this score down
