The only Victorian doing anything decent for us Aussies strikes! 5 more wickets to get and the wicket was of S Nafees. He was there last hope of a miracle draw. Now they are no hope in hell.

Speaking of Victoria...

It is Australia's second most populous state yet provides jack-all in int'l cricket talent. All theyve given us in the last decade are Warne and Damien Fleming, now its just Warne and none of the current Bushrangers in either ING or Pura really look any good to be honest. Whereas u look at South Australia with alot less ppl and thats where all the current young talent is coming from.
Obviously cricket in Victoria is falling behind.

You knon Victorians, all they care about if AFL. Stuff any other sport. Doesn't help when their Pura cup side is stacked with oldies. We won't be seeing any future players from them anytime soon.

While I didn't see the match, I find it hard for a batsmen, specialist or part-time to get "lucky" for 425 balls. That's just way too much time spent on the crease. Props to Dizzy :)

South Australia & WA are equally obsessed with AFL...it rocks :D....and they still manage to produce decent players, anyway it is a winter sport and cricket is the main summer sport.

Yeh their team is packed with old men...All their fast bowlers are 30 plus...lol i cant see the point in that really.

DIzzy was dropped a couple of times. But I think most players who reach scores above 200 get a dropped catch or missed runout to two.

*cough* Hodge :) I'm sure Gilly was also dropped on his way to 200. The way he plays you would think there would be chances in a long knock.

he wont get a bowl now most likely :( 8/233 and still nothing

Warnie gets a 5 wicket hall - That's the 36th five-wicket haul for Warne, equalling Sir Richard Hadlee's record

as someone said - your cant get lucky for 425 balls....

Just one more needed...we would have thought with only 4 down they wouldve played atleat till lunch. It's a little disappointing really, but thats the way it is.

36th 5 wicket haul..this guy is like a finely tuned machine..and what does he do to recover from a sore arm..have another long spell n pick another 5 wickets that'll do nicely skip :) simply amazing.

I reckon Murali would be ahead on that count though.

If only Bangladesh didn't lose so many wickets yesterday. They only really have to bat for 2 sessions and they could have got a draw. Easier said than done against this Aus bowling lineup though.

I like this guy Rafique..great servant for Bangladesh and plays good positive cricket amd a good attitude, in the game always. 2 Sixes of MacGill !
