Wow, that was fast.
Cullen was disappointing but MacGill and Warne cleaned up easy.

Bring on the ODI!

lol odis hmmmmmm i think the Bangers can win the ODI series, the Aus ODI team is piss weak atm, because they keep picking the wrong players and the pace attack is unsettled.

dont be surprised if the bangers turn us into mash :D

It may be unsettled which will possibly affect the structure and balance of the ODI side in the near future, but it still has dominating strength over anything that Bangladesh have produced- for this series anyway :p

Lets see how our bowlers go this time round. At least there is no more Lewis. Too bad Clark left for home cause we still got to sort out if he is ODI material. Johnson bound to get a game so we will see what he has learned since his last stint in Aussie colours.

yes and heres hoping Dorey and Hopes dont get a game lol

i hope Cosgrove plays, as well as being a talented bat, he is also a fine slipper and bowls handy mediums.

He'll play, who else would they put in at 4? Please don't say Hopes!
I reckon Lehmann must rate Cosgrove's bowling, he bowled him in the ING cup final when the game was still very live. It would be more handy than Hopes deliveries.

lol yeh

Clarke can play 4 aswell, so it will come down between those two.

Good point, still Cosgrove should be able to get a look in I would hope. Interesting choice the selectors got on who to bat at 4. Hussey, Clarke and Cosgrove all good players.

But they're both pretty versatile players, so it wouldn't be too much of an issue anyway. However, I still think Cosgrove should be slotted in at four, although all three are accustomed to new ball exposure, he could really gain confidence at the forefront, with Clark and Hussey ideal finishers and with the ability to seal the innings in a variety of situations.

I'd probably put Clarke at 4, he showed some potential when he moved there before. As long as Cosgrove gets 2 games I'll be happy. 3 would be awesome, but I suspect he will be lucky to get 1.

Clarke at four would pose no problems, but on the other hand, an immediate test of Cosgrove's character at the top on the international scene might prove to be a decent move. Anyway, as you said, as long as he gets two opportunities to at least justify selection would be good.

Probably going to use the same squad first then start making changes since we have plenty of matches to swap around.

I agree, we always seem to have only 5 bowlers one of which is Symonds. This is where we need an all rounder to fill the 6th bowler role.
