Agreed, Ponting should have sent him back. He has no-one to blame but himself.

Great for England though! :D

and now he will lose his match fee for descent!

Somebody knows here what the highest achieved target is in the fourth innings in Trent Bridge?

Ok, I found it out.

Highest target achieved in Trent Bridge: 284-6 in the Test match of England vs New Zealand in 2004. And England won that match with four wickets. And there in total so far 52 Tests matches played in Trent Bridge.

And right now Australia trail by 37 runs. So you guys can have your thoughts on that.

I still think there could be a few twists and turns in this match.
If Simon Jones is not fit tomrrow England will miss him and his swing bowling.
If Australia can bat most of the day and leave England with anything over 180 to chase i think it will be back in the balance.

I think australia might have a lead under 200. If australia can get quick wickets in englands reply then both are even. Turning out to be another thriller.

England should win this one!!! Would be fantastic! I dont want Aussies to win!

Looking good for the poms! I really hope they beat the Aussies, but winning this match still means it isn't over right? I personally think Jones bowled superbly once again today and I hope he can keep up his bowling form. Good Luck England!

I think it was just pure frustration at getting out.
I hope they dont come down hard on him.

For me it's just normal reaction. They can rather attend to some of the subs, which England used to often. After Pontings dismissal ten minutes later Harmison just went off the field to have rest or so.

But maybe it will be good if Ponting will be banned for one match: Enter Symonds.

The way i see it England have "two bites at the cherry".

They can go for a wicket with the old ball in the first hour (or 13 overs). Then if the Aussie's survive that, England can take the new ball.

I can't see the Aussie's getting past the first hour and then the new ball without loosing a few wickets.
