Australia in India

i hope it is a good series for india would not minde a 7 - 0 win

for whom? india? you got to be kidding. we are playing australia, not zimbabwe.

i feel we can win the series if we play well. we will enjoy home conditions and we should feel confident.

it should be a good series. 7 - 0 to india i am messing that will be really difficult, wouldnt mind but just hope it is a good one

I'm not sure this has been mentioned recently but this is the ODI series for Australia's last tour, where they only played Tests.

If India attack our bowlers like they did in the 20/20 semi then they could be really competitive this series. Our bowlers have clearly shown they can't bowl the yorker when needed and the 5th bowling option is a real problem.

It's going to be a cracker of a series. Australia will be aching for revenge for this 20-20 loss to India and India will go in with a new team full of confidence.

I predict a see-saw series, it could go either way.

You have to wonder if we've now over-exposed Clarke and Symonds to the point that teams will blast the weak link in the chain.

Time is the key. In an ODI situation, the fifth and sixth bowlers might only bowl 5 overs, maybe less if there is a seventh option or an early end. I think batsmen may well see that as short enough to press hard like they do in T20.

I want to see some T20 specialists from India's end to really capitalize on those Aussie part timers.
Rohit Sharma and Robin Uthappa should do nicely.

on cricinfo says that chawla might miss the odis and also maybe hussey

It looks like it, the worry thing for us is our part timers are no where near as effective as other countries.

I see Hopes has been called up to replace Watson, for mind his bowling looks to be only successful in domestic cricket, he hardly ever transfers that to the international arena.

From what I've seen on Hussey hes out for the tour and we will be calling up a replacement soon.
