i agree..Van der Wath absolutely rocks !!

Although i thought it was exteremely strange on pontings part to trust a relatively new-comer like lewis n not his more experienced and ,IMO,a lot better bowler Lee..Incredible !!Beats me !!

He been showing me his power hitting and swing/seam bowling in our domestic series for the past 3 seasons. Another player that has been overlooked for a while, the next biggest talent from this part of SA is off-spinner Thandi Tshabalala.

SA proved tht ANYTHIN IS POSSIBLE IN ODIS......... I really wonder now when SA has the mental ability to chase 435 and win it,then INDIA in wc2003 could have chased the 360 plus tht time becos anything is possible in ODI's.... Only thing required is Taking any tpe of challenge(low or high or very high) and building a strong mentality to win the challenge....thts what SA have done today and India failed that time(as they almost gave up after Aussie's batting!!!!)

435 the target, even sometimes team got out on less then 200, how is it possible, ponting has to do something about that and why lee or clarke was not bowling and ponting gives bowl to lewis to bowl.

Poor captaincy from Ponting all day in my opinion. He rivals Chanderpaul as the worst captain in cricket for me!

Nevertheless, and amazing game and credit to both sides. South Africa definately have the second best set of fans in the world, behind the Barmy Army ofcourse.
