For the guys who cant watch this game get Foxtel haha nah
The dismissal of Rudolf was pretty lucky, nick to 1st slip Warne who wasnt paying attention dropped an absolute dolly, fell over and managed to kick it up in the air allowing Gilly to take a simple catch

What a star. Going up 1-0 is always encouraging. Maybe he's not made for ODI and is made for Test?

lol there is still a long way to go :)

Warne has just put down another! But it fell in an awkward position. No gilly to back up that time

Warney seems unfocused in the slips today. Hope he can help out with the ball.

Yeah his economy rate of 5.13 speaks for itself...
Not sure it's possible to call anyone a 'great ODI player' after 15 matches.
nor a star at test level after 1 session..............

Isn't 41 overs a lot to fit into 1 session?

Well one and a half sessions now then.
I'm not saying he's not having a good debut I'm just saying that he's already over 30, his record in FC cricket isn't that great and my mum could get wickets on this pitch.

i wonder how Nel will go...

theres a fair chance he will be very underdone, placing extra pressure on Ntini and Hall. No Pollock is such a huge blow.

wow that Rudolph dismissal sounds amusing...mind u it wouldnt have been if Gilly hadnt snatched it.

South Africa still have plenty to come, I wouldn't start getting cocky just yet.

I actually meant what i wrote - i think you mistook it for sarcasm. This reminds me very much like day 1 at lords - the poms came out and steamrolled our top order before lunch, there was a bit of resistance in the tail then bowled out for under 200. The tricks were well and truely still in the pitch by the time Australia came onto bowl and consequently steamrolled england. Pitches that seem a long way with inconsistent bounce will get even the best batsmen out.

To be fair to him, he has to work very quickly. Especially for spinners.
