To be fair to him, he has to work very quickly. Especially for spinners.

yeh i know it isnt easy but he could try a little harder, hes probably a local.

some of those livescorers are really good...but not this one.

Ntini and Nel just put up the highest SA partnership of the innings.

Hopefully Hayden and Langer can hang in there till the end of the days play.

Good point about ABC Grandstand

Commentary seems much better than Fox (or CricInfo lol)

Good day for australia winning all 3 sessions comfy..if sun bakes down and haydo & ponting get stuck in tomorrow then they'll be well & truly on top.

Stuart clark's got 5 on debut :d ..think he's the first after lee did for australia. but could someone tell the supersport guys to atleast get his name right..it's so annoying someone's bowling so damn well and the commentators keep calling him MICHAEL CLARKE geez..

Mickey Arthurs said he aint worried about warne and chose to ignore him but fact of matter is, he has clearly influenced SA's decision to bat 1st on a seaming pitch cuz they fear batting last against him.

Well one and a half sessions now then.
I'm not saying he's not having a good debut I'm just saying that he's already over 30, his record in FC cricket isn't that great and my mum could get wickets on this pitch.

Your mum should play for SA then cause they don't seem to be getting many wickets on this pitch.

Australia already have this won. What a pathetic batting performance following up from that brilliant ODI.

But good bowling from Clark, he has basically wrapped up the 3rd pacemen spot. Kasper also had a good comeback getting the wickets when needed. Good recovery from Lee too to hit back with 3 wickets.

One innings of one game doesn't wrap up anything. But for this tour it does look like they've found their man.

Kasper bowled 10 noballs from 13 overs. He was good other than that. He needs to fix that problem.

You don't get 5 wickets on debut by fluke, Clark has the talent to be the 3rd pacemen. Also there will be good competition yet again so Clark knows he has to keep performing well.

lets see what Clark has over the whole test series instead of putting him on a pedestool and saying how great he is.

a good debut but he needs to build on it.

cricinfo recons the sun will be out today, which willl obviously favour australia.
big blunder by the africans electing to bat first :noway

Simon Cook?

However, Clark was looking so sharp. It wasn't just his wickets that were impressive, but he was beating batsmen, givning Kallis the hurry up on occassion. They were french cutting him to. His delivery to get Gibbs out was just magic.

What about 6/9 in your 4th match?

The conditions clearly didn't have the pacemen working terribly hard.
