The way Australians came from UK originally. ;) Most people would probably know what I mean.

Not really. Only you can't stop picking your nose into small details. I would say the same for the Asians born in UK that they come from Asia. Everybody would know what I would say. And if you ask the people back there of which country they feel they come from they would say the same just what I said. And I did say he originally comes from India: in other words the previous generation(s) above him lived in India.

I guess you're just too bored now, so you're picking on small details. How about taking a glass of limonade (or whatever you like) and sit on the sofa and think about yourself?

A bit too off topic, but I am not the one who started it.

Maybe saying Amla is a South African of Indian descent would be politically correct in this case :D

According the Ponting we will be at full strength for the dead rubber. No surpise I guess, but I wonder what they will do come Bangladesh.

me thinks aussie selectors will blood fringe players for the series against B'desh. I wouldn't be surprised if Bracken, Hodge, Gillespie, Cosgrove (may be too early for him) and Jaques are selected for B'desh tour.

Who knows what our selectors will do. They are full of surpises. One thing they haven't done is give away free Baggygreens so I can see any new guy starting. Touring like Tait possibly but actually starting, highly unlikely.

They better start blooding a few youngsters coz that's the last opportunity they will get before the ashes. Plus, what's the point in playing likes of Hayden,Ponting, Warne etc., when you can easily win without them?

Let the regulars have a well deserved break and see what the youngsters can do. There's no better way than B'desh tour to test your bench-strength.

Mate both Hayden and Warne plays only test cricket and still you want to rest them. They are now specialist in test cricket.

But you gotta think long term... they are not getting any younger. Warne is 36 and will not last more than a year or so. Hayden is 33 and his time will be up in a couple of years time. This is the right time to blood the replacements - Phil Jaques as opener and maybe Cameron White, or any other promising spinner in place of Warne.

Similarly, Ponting & Lee can be rested as they have had a long year. Guys like Hodge, Shane Watson & Symonds can be given opportunities to establish their place in the side. And it's time to include Clark back in the test squad in place of Martyn.

Point is, if you can beat a side second XI, why risk playing your senior squad, who are already proven performers. Give the opportunities to youngsters to test them out and see if they can cut it at test level or not.

*Waits for the White haters*

I wouldn't mind seeing them experiement but it won't happen, the selectors haven't sent a 2nd string side against Zimbabwe and they won't send one against Bangladesh.

One thing to note Clark is spelt Clarke, this is the one time I want to see English enforced because if you are saying Clark most will think you mean Stuart Clark. Michael Clarke has an "e" at the end.

I apologize for the error... I meant Clarke and not Clark when talking about the middle order batting position. Who knows this time aussie selectors may be a bit more amenable to changes in the squad coz it's an ageing squad and it makes sense to try out a few of the fringe players. For sure, playing fringe players can't harm anyone.
