the commentators reckon it's better than yesterday, however you know the saffers will go off at any given chance. They need to get the wickets very soon, I can't see even half of the final session getting played.

Ponting just has to be smart - get symmo and clarke operating with spinners at the other end to warne - they aren't going to chase the total down. But Punter has a habit of bowling his fast guys to try and sneak one quickly.

If our selectors were smart they would have picked Dizzy. Hopefully Tait gets a go next test if Kasper doesn't do much, we brought Tait over may as well see what hes got. But that doesn't look likely cause this ones looks to be heading for a draw.

Warnie picks up the other opener too, there maybe hope for Aus yet.
God you're quick to bag anything they goes slightly wrong, wtf they arent going to drop 5 guys after a match. He isn't in the team to be a wicket taker he is just a guy to get an occasional wicket and tie down an end with expierence. Stop all this stupid statements such as 'drop him' after he hasnt done much wrong.

Punter isnt out there, hasnt been all day(stomach bug)
Gilly is in charge.

Startin to get darker now wont be able to use the quicks soon.
Trouble is new ball is due and Warne has been pretty much bowling all day and needs to be rested.
So we may not be able to use the quicks for long with new ball and Warne is looking tired and needs a break.

grrr Kaspa might have had a wicket but it was called a noball.
need more replays to see if warne caught it or it just bounced.

edit
Got him yes hes gone.
where into the tail now.
Next over kaspa gets boje (trying to get easy runs for his 50)

Wish Brett Lee hadnt just finished his spell coz we need him to come in an clean up the tail again.

they got the new ball now.
lee an Clarke bowling.
But theres big grey clouds around making it very dark.
During the last over boucher was shaking his head, opening his eyes acting as if he cant see it.
Nel was at the non strikers end telling the umpire its too dark.

I cant see the quickies being allowed to bowl for long.

South Africa could actually get a draw here. 18 overs are left.

Well with about 10 overs left and one wicket left. Looks like Australias win but the light is bad so the batsmen could go off

The guys have done it !Series 2-0 :d It was so close, think another 2-3 overs and umpires would've offered the batsmen light..Great effort from Boucher but in vain. Warne's done what was expected of him sucha champion, woudnt have been easy bowling such a long spell and again to come back and finish the job.

Gilly needs to be credited too for being not just aggressive but also insightful in his placings and also always keeping the spirit up when it looked like boucher & boje were comfortable at the crease.

Don't agree with the 'drop kasper' comments but he atleast needs to work on his no-balls, but at the same time dont quite agree with langerrox saying he isnt in the team for taking wickets..Well if you are chosen as 1 of the 4 frontline bowlers in a test match , you are there for taking wickets. Maybe some conditions will suit 1 more than other, but they all in there for taking wickets. Symonds is someone u can call a bowler to give others a break and maybe chip in with a wicket or 2...and by the way He's our new "Bad Light Bowler" too lol . If u take Kasper out of the equation , there's Clark who despite all his good work, a rookie at test level so cant rely on Warne & Lee all the time.

Thats a good effort from SA but not quite enough. Great by Warne, Clark chipping in with a couple.

Yay Aus win.

But has he done much right? You are being the hyporcitic saying drop Hodge when he wasn't do much wrong.
Oh and lets go back to Michael Clarke another you wanted dropped. He too hasn't done much wrong, scored a 50 in the 4th test of the Ashes when all the other batters were dropping like flies. So he too should still be in the team?

Katich another that didn't do much wrong and is there to support Gilly but yet you say this?

langerrox said:
katich needs to go his attempt at being the 'rock' doesnt help our cause at all, australia needs to take a go or die approach like symonds and punter did,

I can't see why Clark or Clarke can't be in the team. They both perform well but are very much underrated. I also remember back someone was bagging Clark about dropping him but boy, they were wrong.

Also a great match from Warnie as usual!

That was probably me and a few others after the World Record ODI loss :p

Good bowling by Warne, he pulled this one out of the bag, it looked as if SA would be able to get the draw.
