Australia tour of West Indies

What doesn't it start at 1am?

Does anyone know of any good streaming links?

Ok the Aussies have won the toss and will bat first.

Pitch Report:

Half of the wicket is bare and the other half has patches of grass. So Jimmy Adams reckons there will be inconsistent bounce.

West Indies team:
DS Smith, BA Parchment, RR Sarwan, RS Morton, S Chanderpaul, DJ Bravo,
D Ramdin, DJG Sammy, DBL Powell, FH Edwards, AS Jaggernauth

Australia team:
PA Jaques, SM Katich, RT Ponting, MEK Hussey, BJ Hodge, A Symonds,
BJ Haddin, B Lee, MG Johnson, SR Clark, SCG MacGill

Jaggernauth, Sammy in. No Taylor.

They've finally decided to go with the specialist spinner, but without Jerome Taylor the attack is looking squishy.

Off to bed to get up at 4am. :)

I do not mind waking up early if it is to catch some live cricket action.
I enjoy getting up early to catch up the live action when India tour Australia/NZ (or any cricket played in Australia for that matter).
The test matches in Australia start at 5.30 A.M IST (India time).
An early start somehow makes the wait for the next day a little less agonizing.

A question to the Windies fans. Where has Dave Mohammad disappeared ?
Is this Jaggernauth fellow a spinner ? The name seems like an Indian name to me.

Mr.Cricket in now. They have to get him early !
If the Aussie lose Hussey/Ponting in this session, it could get quite interesting.
Edwards bowling with some fire here. Quite sharp.

They need Powell to tighten things up at the other end.

Dave is around, and both are spinners, from Trinidad and Indian heritage.

Thanks.
I think Dave could be an asset to the West Indian side, mainly because we do not have too many chinaman bowlers around in World cricket right now.
Its funny how most batsmen struggle to pick these bowlers.

Ooh ! A close LBW shout against Ponting ! Hawkeye says that would`ve clipped leg.
Fair decision though.

If we do lose Ponting, Hodge will fall easily. Then Symonds will get out biffing. Haddin may show some resistance, but nerves will get him in the end. It will then be left to Hussey and the tail to form some sort of fightback. Hussey will turn it our a way a bit then finally get out making a half century and the tail folds.

The story of Australia for the next 5 years.

Dave still have a chance, I believe that he and Jaggs are the leading spinners in the Caribbean, and the time has come for us to stick with one, thick and thin and get them in the team full time.
