Australia tour of West Indies

hmmm then i guess if he could replace ramdin forever then WI batting line up would be really strong...

No he isn't. But we could always pull David Hussey out of the arse.

Who's going to stay up? On weekdays, I'm going to get up at 4am, and watch until 8am before going to school. On weekends, I'm gonna try and do all nighters.

David Hussey-reach the West Indies in less than 24 hours-not possible.A good option for the Second Test. But it seems at the moment we need to be content with Brad Hodge.

Hey guys, why all de fuss about who should play and should not play, come on, this is the Mighty Assuies and little West Indies, any 11 of the 15 can beat us, I mean it should be us, Windians, like Dare and myself that should be fussing as to who should play against the Aussies.
Just sit back and relax and wait, its around the corner, the first test.

yea they are concerned about replacing a guy who averages 50+ with a guy who averages 45+ in domestic cricket while we are stuck with replacing a guy who averages 30 with a guys who's domestic average is barely 30.

Would also mean Katich moves straight into the hot spot. Would rather he batted down the order. One thing that would come out of this is we can confirm Hodge isn't the replacement.

Possible for Hussey to open, but it seems like they tipped their hand in the tour match. There are plenty of question marks, but these are all very good, experienced players, by comparison, we should not forget their opponents' position.

Can`t wait for this series to start.
Aus-WIN series in the Carribean have usually been exciting.Still remember that test series in 1999 just before the 99 WC.
That was a cracker. The memory of Lara pulling off a win batting with Ambrose and Walsh is still fresh in my mind.

This is Australia`s first away tour since the legendary trio of Warnie,Mcgrath and Gilly retired.
If the West Indies can field a fully fit pace attack, I feel they might pull out a surprise or two in this series.West Indies must come hard at the Aussies in the first test where Australia might be without Hayden and Clarke and with Ponting not being in the touch that he was in last season, the batting looks just a bit brittle.
Add to that the fact that they won`t have Gilly around to launch those counterattacks brings them back with the rest of the pack somewhat.
The problem area for the Windies will be their batting. They don`t seem to have someone other than Chanders who can bat long. Gayle won`t be available for the first test and with Samuels being banned, there will be immense pressure on Sarwan and Chanderpaul to deliver.

Hopefully this will be as closely contested as the India-Australia test series earlier this year (minus those controversies though).

I think Katich would do well on the slower West Indian pitches.
He is the gritty sort of batsman that Australia need in the middle order.
A middle order comprising of Symonds and Clarke does`nt look as stable as the one they had previously with the Waugh bros,Martyn,Lehmann etc.

If Katich continues his great form, and Clarke is available for the 2nd test, it will be interesting to see who gets picked...

what a dilemma to have. thats why the Aussies are the best, they have so much dept in their batting that its so easy for them to replace players.

I think that Australia will win this 2-0 with a draw or rain affecting the 3rd match. but i expect it to be a tough series win, I expect the bowlers to perform good and I hope that Jerome Taylor gets allot of wickets against the best team in the world.
