I really hate to say it but if Katich shines maybe Hayden will get the axe.
the selectors always seem to have the finger on the button with Hayden.
Hayden is my fave but if hes out of form, the 37 year old could say goodbye
Ponting has already scored one Test and 3 ODI centuries in the midst of this form slump. He's a hard player to gauge. He looked quite indifferent against an innocuous Sri Lanka, but averaged 70 for the short series. Against NZ in the CHT he busted out two very sharp centuries and it looked like he was well on track for a big summer. Against India he seemed to get out cheaply every innings, but came away averaging almost 40, so not really a shocker by a lesser player's standards. Finally in the CBS, he really did struggle for starts and 11 was his 3rd highest score in 10 innings. Nevertheless, he did convert one of those two starts into a match winning century.Ponting just needs that one big knock, probably should have a talk with Hayden who was in a similar bad patch. Haddin proving his worth already, looks like he'll add that consistency that we have been missing from Gilly lately.

as far as I know he should be there already, I think that he was due leave after Mumbai vs Kolkata.
looks like Katich is back in the aussie team again... i think for West Indies they should give carlton baugh another chance because dinesh ramdin never performed well....
Baugh did good against the Aussies in the last match, but in my opinion he is the #4 or #5 WK in the Caribbean. Ramdin, Browne, William Perkins(selectors seem to be picking the young guys) and than Baugh would come but you never know.
