Australia tour of West Indies

2 wickets at the death though. He did go for 5.87 runs per over with 5wides and so, these were hardly good figures. Kantasingh had better figures with 10-1-41-1.

I didn't expect anything more from a 19 year old fast bowler playing against the best side in the world. He did good in the 2 games he played against them regardless of what his figures say.

Yes Dawes thats him

Whats he got going in his future?

I saw him bowl before the Under 19 WC, he played for the WI Under 19s in the KFC Cup. He performed well bowling to the some of the best batsman in the Caribbean. He picked up 2/7 from 3 overs against Barbados in his List A debut and than he picked up 3/42 from 7 overs against the Leeward Islands. He is built like a proper fast bowler and I couldn't tell you who his action reminds me of but he bowled at a good pace in the Under 19 world cup and finished with 11 wickets from 5 matches.

What he needs to do is go find Courtney Walsh and make Courtney adopt him for a little while and just learn from him. The lack of a proper pace academy is hurting him and the rest of the young up and coming fast bowlers in the Caribbean.

Cricinfo suggesting unrealistic expectations for Cameron White... :S Could cost us a match or two.

If only what they were reporting could come true. But blame this on the selectors they picked him as the main spinner which I have no idea what they based it on given he was out performed by numerous others spinners in the FRC.

Depends what you want to base it on. From last season FRC, McGain and Dothery were the stand outs. Outside of them you Hauritz and Heal.

The cricinfo side is spot on, Symonds ruled out with injury and Clark missing out.

They only say that cause Punter gave White overs in the practice game, David Hussey outbowled him lol

Obviously not a spinning track, Watson will open and bowl

Ok, so first Gayle sends Australia in (when will they EVER learn :noway), THEN he opens with HIMSELF? :laugh Open with spin in Twenty20 - Maybe. But I dont really see it as that neccessary in an ODI

Now Marsh and Watson are off to a good start. Go boys! This could be a massive total.

Martin Crowe used Dipak Patel as an opening spin bowler in the 92 World Cup as a defensive strategy against openers looking to loft the ball over the infield. It was surprisingly effective.

What is it with Australia and left-handed openers? Langer, Hayden, Gilchrist, Katich, Jacques and now Marsh.
