no im just saying its good that the computer gets up. there used to be heaps of story threads in which the user would always pound the opposition by a mile. it became very unrealistic. unlike some of the stories which are going around today. which are alot more easily related to. IMO

I agree with you 100%, It makes it much more realistic if the CPU can draw or beat you. To be fair though, I was expecting to win this one and the test in Adelaide
Ricky Ponting has talked to the media about his teams draw with India. "Its a gut wrenching experience to face the last ball and not score enough" "I started to blame myself for not doing enough but realised that you have to move on." Ponting seemed pleased with the teams overall effort, "I believe that we had the upper hand the whole game, Marto has got back into form and I was happy with 150" "Stuart Clark had a good debut and Brett was on fire" "We are looking forward to the next test to try and take our revenge on the Indian's"
The Gabba curator Kevin Mitchell has warned that frequent wet conditions over the past few weeks have hampered attempts to produce a good pitch. Mitchell also warned that the weather expected is not looking good. "We have over 2 days of rain coming up before the test" "We have also had around 3 weeks of steady showers which has virtually destroyed the pitch." "I would think a delay of around 1-2 days would be necessary just to get the pitch at minimum standards for cricket" Players can expect to see low bouncer and a very damp outfield. Batsmen will stuggle while bowlers might look to exploit the low bounce...
Matt Hayden discusses playing conditions with the ground staff
The Gabba in recent times has been known for it's lush green outfield and a good consistent pitch. However this match will be played in wet conditions. The ground staff have worked tirelessly to drain the outfield and keeping the pitch from becoming water-logged. Players have a tough task on this pitch, the ball will bounce very low and a slow outfield which will require lofted shots to reach the boundary. The match has been reduced to 4 days because of the horrible weather so a draw is a big possibility in the coming days...
It's a home ground advantage to Symo, If he's selected...
The Pitch
The Gabba pitch has been under severe stress from the frequent unseasonable rain's over the last few weeks. It is very damp and as said before will provide interesting conditions for the players. Neither batsmen nor bowlers are favoured on this pitch.
The Weather
Day 1, Fine and cloudy, Max 22
Day 2, Overcast and possible rain, Max 19
Day 3, Overcast and windy, Max 20
Day 4, Overcast and heavy rain, Max 25
The Advantage
No teams will benefit from this pitch, and with a draw looking very likely it looks like the Aussie's could wrap up the series 2-1...
Welcome to the final test of this captivating series between Australia and India. Both teams have fought hard in all matches and it is showing on the scoreboard. 2-1 to Australia is the current standing, This game will decide the outcome. Will Australia win or will the Indian's create an upset and draw the series 2-2. A draw is good enough for the Aussie's in this match so the pressure will be on this Indian's.
Harbhajan Singh has flown home after having a disappointing series. Singh was injured during the second test match and never recovered. Doctor's say that the injury is a stress fracture of his finger. Singh will spend his time recovering back in India. Harbhajan did not comment to the media on his way to check in at Brisbane International Airport. Fortunately for India Pradeep Chawla has proved his worth in the team and is proving to be a competant replacment for the turbanator...
very inexperienced bowling attacks for both teams. im not sure australia has enough fire power to do the job but i think a draw is on the cards. prove me wrong c60
Pradeep Chawla has captured the vital wicket of Justin Langer to leave the hosts at 1/51. Langer and Hayden had put on a good opening partnership in horrible conditions. The ball is bouncing extremely low and is difficult to hit away. Chawla bowled an off break which was pitched on middle but did not spin at all. Langer tried to work it through mid wicket but was caught by the low bounce and no turn and given LBW for 15...
