I've just had a thought, Trott's not in the ODI squad? That's a pile of toss! I swear we just want to lose ODI series after ODI Series. I'm so pissed off. Barely able to defend 300.

the bowling comment was actually sarcastic, I wasn't saying get him in for his bowling. get him in for shah or Bopara. do the ol' 1-2 in taking his place in test and ODI

sorry it was just the fact he took 3/36 off 8 overs in the game currently being televised against Surrey, and he's just been dropped. Surrey are just so fail at the moment!

But we do need a serious re think of our ODI line up.

How about Rashid? He's a LOT worse than Swann. Admittedly I've only seen him in 3 ODIs. In the first game he was decent, but he got way more credit than he deserved for his 0/37. The Aussies just sat on him - he wasn't going to get anyone out. And the last 2 ODIs he's bowled rubbish and honestly could have gone at 10 an over had the Aussies taken their opportunities. Plenty of leg side stuff and full half volleys outside off. He needs plenty more county cricket - sorry English hype machine.

Agree. He doesn't command any respect from the Aussie batsmen. Except a scratchy Michael Clarke

So I'd be playing Onions (or Anderson) and Swann instead of Rashid and Bresnan. Swann is a more than capable #9 too so the English obsession of having bowlers who can bat a bit will still be alive.

And I'd be playing Trott in the batting lineup for crying out loud. He'd have the respect of the Aussie attack at the very least. Bopara probably would be the first to go, possibly Shah.

After winning 5th ODI back to back, Aus have leveleed India at No2 spot, if they manage to win the next 2 they will regain the top spot...Lets see,will Eng manage to upset Aus's winning streak? Quite difficult according to me...Still nothing can be said,anything can happen in cricket...
