Very impressed with this 50 by Paine, played some nice cover drives, a good hit down the ground and just then a good reverse sweep. He looks so much better when he isn't moving around his crease.

Nice 50 for Paine, he seems to have picked up the pace a little.

As I've said before, he's a proper opener, not just a wicket keeper who opens. He's very good when he just takes his time and backs his ability to go through the gears.

Gotta love the England way of doing things. Get two wickets before 50 and then just sit back and allow them to get a 100-run partnership. Complete joke. Dimi Masca is fast become the most useless player ever. He's not getting any runs or wickets.

Well played Paine and well deserved 100. Certainly has a future in the Test team with his technique and if he keeps this form up he might force pressure onto Haddin.
