Australia vs England ODI Series - 7 matches - Sep 4 to Sep 20

Yes that was a possibility. I was about to say that Denly looked England's best chance but I also observed that he wasn't enjoying it as much as Paine. Not as terrible a shot as it looked, though. The length was there, but just tried to hit a fraction straight.

Still one for the future I think, also Australia's bowling attack is better than England's.

What a surprise. England batsman gets in, plays a few nice shots and then gets out. Our hopes now lie in the hands of Ravi Bopara, Matt Prior and Owais Shah.....:facepalm

Crap. I am around 10-15 minutes behind live play. I was about to say Denly looks a class player. But i guess he gets out any minute now. I hope England stick with him, sure he will come good. Looks too good not to.

What an idiotic way to get out, honestly. Ponting has a deadly arm though, that's for sure.

Wow, the curse of Shah strikes again.

Lol @ England and their selection policy. Getting their just deserts.

England's running \o/ Not only do we struggle to keep up with the rate but we insist on ████ running too. Just shake up the whole middle order.

In fact it rather looks like Shah has bothered to work on his issues more than some others.

angryangy added 6 Minutes and 26 Seconds later...

Shah is probably worth a bit more backing too. He's a lot more talented than his records suggest and in truth his biggest problem is trying too hard to rectify that. He's so often so close to being really good that I think England are better off with him than without him.
