Im going to back Andrew Murray, for the simple fact that he is our best prospect. Played with Nadal when he was younger, Nadal reckons he is good enough to reach the heights so why shouldnt we!

Roger Federer for the men he is just too good.
The womens one is very open as always. The Williams on their day are hard to beat, Davenport is number 1, Clijsters is the bookies favourite from what I read.

Interesting things in the open, Dokic back to represent Aus via a wildcard and Hingis also back from retirement via wildcard.

only if Serena is a 100% fit, ifnot i think Sharapova has a good chance of getting her first Australian open title.
Among men, it is a huge dissappointment..not to have Nadal, Safin and to an extent Agassi. So Roddick can fancy his chances. Hewitt will likely play Federar sometime...so his chances are remote.

Lol Hewitt would count his lucky stars if he could meet Roger in the Aus open. He has been shocking lately.
Sharapova herself isn't 100% fit either. I reckon Davenport should be favourite as she has no injury cloud I think. What about Venus is she under any injury cloud as she can never be writen off.

I said Federer but has anyone been watching Kooyong, Tommy Haas has been playing very very well so maybe watch out for him

come-on Carlos Moya ,, you can do it . be at the bottom of every Men's seedings . :D

Well you can rule out Dokic and Venus from winning the open as both are gone in the 1st round. Sharapova got through easily and Serena although made to struggle also made it past the first round.

hey whats happening with those other ones like Hingis. Haven't seen her lately.

She is on the Rod Laver Arena at 7.30pm Aus time. The organiser clearly using her comeback as a drawcard.
Lleyton Hewitt plays today and Kind Federer is playing right now. Mark Philippoussis also plays Sebastien Grosjean today.

Also for you English fans Tim Henman is out already :D
