Marsh's time is now. He can't blame the conditions seeing as he's played here during the IPL. If he doesn't make at least 70 today he's gone.

Harsh. He has a pretty decent record does Marsh, averaging 38 while opening is actually pretty good, would like to see him up his strike-rate though which is currently 74. He's never really be able to string games in a row for Australia because of injury, unlucky really.

Both are being conservative. Putting the bad balls away but the rest keeps been hit to the fielder. For this pitch we have made a real slow start.

Its 5 r.p.o at the moment and not a bad start really. With Ponting,Hussey and White to follow, this is actually a solid start. Anyone who feels this is a third rate Aussie side is wrong. They`ll still be hard to beat.

Watson is really starting to get a move on, this is how he should always try and bat tbh, he looks so much better when going after the bowling.
