Bangladesh tour of England, May-July 2010

150+ score by Strauss and then when I am writing it he departs :p

Strauss is finally out. Good innings of him.

Now England can only reach about 310-320 runs, I would say.

300 is on board 320 is a big ask but if Bopara can do some hitting then it's possible!!

You know what, I reckon Ravi Bopara's in some handy form ATM. That straight six went a mile. Love watching him bat when he's in this sort of form.

The bloke is special when he gets going. Good knock to come in like that and take this game well away from Bangladesh.

England reached 347-7. I was expecting that kind of total when Trott and Strauss were batting. But Bopara had to hit some balls in order to reach that.

The figures of Shafiul Islam: 2-97. It's among the worst ever ODI bowling.

Well played Strauss, Trott and Bopara. I think Bopara has cemented his place in the team with this little cameo.

Great finish there from Bopara, but what the heck was the bowler doing! Dishing up an over of juicy half volleys is poor, especially to a clean striker like Bopara in the 50th over.

Right, I'm officially back on the Ravi Bopara lovewagon. Had started to lose faith in him over the last few months, but he's back in form and back in England colours with a bang. Bin Luke Wright and use this lad instead, not much worse with the ball but miles better with the bat. <3 Ravi. I'd actually be considering playing Bopara ahead of Morgan in the Test side against Pakistan to replace Bell. Ravi's in better form and Morgan didn't really do anything of note against Bangladesh.

Now that is a tough selection for the Pakistan tests.

Poor bowling, but Ravi capitalised on it.

So, how big a win will it be? 200?

Flukes don't happen everyday :laugh but well bowled Mashrafe. Right so what can we expect from Bangladesh now? Bat out the 50 overs and finish with 242/4 or just go for the target and get skittled out for 125? :sarcasm
