The above angle should dissolve all your fears :D! Lofted shots do fall in different areas!! Maybe its dependent on how much you press the attacking trigger!

:cheers

so the fielders are sticking to the rope?briggs?Ross please post this picture completely(bottom) then it will be clear.there will be no question or discussion regarding this.yes i am moron

Don't take this the wrong way, but I hate you. You're actually a moron.

This is what happens when people get hooked on the slide animations and have too much time on their hands - I am being serious - it's got to the point where the guys in QA try to save a ball as close to the line as possible without it going for four or touching the ball and rope at the same time... as in they track the ball without picking it up on purpose and then launch at it.

so the fielders are sticking to the rope?briggs?

Please just read the damn posts...

Looks great. Absolutely love the feature of bringing these up whenever i want and being able to change the camera angle. EPIC!! Since you mentioned filter and the pitch map is showing the balls one batsman faced against one bowler, i am guessing we can also look at pitch maps of a particular batsman against ALL bowlers and one bowler also against all batsmen?

Couple of bugs (?) that i noticed...
The blur line for bigeye looks odd but great to know you guys are patching it.

Another odd thing i noticed is in the big wheel...a small white line close to the pitch on the off side...apparently going for 2/3.

Just a wild guess. The batsman was scampering for a single, bowler threw at stumps but went for overthrow, resulting in a 2/3! Wild guess really!

Yeah, the blur is where the "doff" kicks in, it is parallel to the crowd.

I'll check the other one you mention, thanks.

I'd really like MikeM to run down the filters for you - I know you have bowler/batsmen/left-right handed/etc..

I am surprised Ross is still around, some of the people around here are getting really off-putting, never pleased with everything and so damn picky. Personally I feel for Ross as he has done the best he can to try and please people who have not had a game in over 4 years, yet with everything they have shown people are still being asses. /rant over.

Loved all the screenshots were very good and loved the Big balls or whatever the name [Balls pitch map]....My Favourite...:D

Ross can you post a screenshot of six distance meter in the game please??:yes

This would complete all the technology related stuffs.....:D

I think it's clear that they aren't at all. They may as well be randomly generated - indeed they might need to be for the career mode.

To be extremely picky, the colours in the hud don't seem to match up with the colours of the lines. In the other shot of the hawkeye, I don't like how the DOF blurs the back of the lines.

The left most yellow one seems to bounce a second time though, which makes the closeness on the original bounce even more odd.

I think all of them are bouning twice, but due to the scorecard the other bounces can not be seen properly. They all seem to have bounced in almost the same distant from the batsman but the second bounce would depend on the elevation difference between those which we can't properly see in these pics.
