well his death was suspicious and it turned out true that he was strangled...really didn't deserve that and from reports it says that he didn't show any struggle or anything which might mean that he was drugged before or something before being strangled...i mean who doesn't struggle if they are being strangled...

Those that are speculating that the Pakistan players murdered Woolmer are absolutely ridiculous and absurd. I am 100% sure that they did not murder Woolmer and why would they? Even if the murder was linked to match fixing I still don't see the point. Really cricket has entered back into the dark ages again and I can't see it getting out quickly.

It probably never left the dark ages, just went un-noticed. Which is impossible to believe with the ICC in charge....

This Dawood guy should get chased down and killed he's starting to annoy me even though I don't know him........I mean I'm sorry to say but you dont kill someone because of money...theres never a reason to kill anyone (unless your in war)......I am also very oddly disturbed by that fact that there were no security cameras in the halways?

What kind of top notch hotel is that, don't every hotels have like CCTV in the hallways? I mean that place does look dodgey I think some sky news guy was in the stairwell's and it looked like Alders stair set which stinks of piss.........sadly Woolmer would have died even if there had been CCTV but at least everyone would have a much closer idea to whom it is.

Well, once again as per NDTV, Two of the Pakistan players were reportedly asked to stay back in Windies while others can leave. This was as per their agency reports there.. but no idea who those players were..

But the same NDTV contaced Mir LIVE and asked him about this news, he clearly told that there were no news like that.. and said that even police there are also disappointed about where these rumours originate.

So the confusion is still goin on!

That guy is very dangeous to say anything to him even on internet mate!
But i agree with you.

btw,News channels and newspapers are saying that that man has fixed the matches till the semi-finals

No more discussion of match fixing please. Last time the topic was discussed this thread was closed. I won't hesitate to do the same.

Is it allright if someone starts a new thread for match fixing. Not Joking.
I'd rather that you didn't. The topic seems to get everybody riled up and causes flaming. Not to mention people are still pretty upset over the rumors of Woolmer getting murdered over something like that.

So to answer your question, no, not right now. Hope you understand.

Actually NDTV is not reporting anything. They are only quoting other reports, and staying on the safe side.
You would see them using phrases like, "according to geo tv", "according to radio jamaica", "it is being speculated that".

Well from what I heard on the radio it was two PCB officials and not any players. This is certainly very strange.

regading news channels i have heard more rumors about wolmer's murder and all that crap in indian channels then in any of the pakistani news channel; wonder why

no offence to any indian if i heart your feelings or sentiments i'm deeply very very sorry
I'll tell you why. Unlike Pakistan, India has more than 20 major news channels. Each try to grab the viewer's attention. Most of the time it's just full of crap and the journalists are extremely hostile towards the players. Look at Chappel's interview in Cricinfo.

Since the appalling news has broken about Bob Woolmer...I have totally lost interest in the competition, or outcome.

I don't really care who stays in it or actually wins it.
