Boxing

and he did. OMG that was awesome, landed right hands at will. What a fighter, wonder if Margarito was weight drained but he probably just took that many bombs that even he couldn't last.

Leicester Fox added 25 Minutes and 33 Seconds later...

Just on last night, i've been looking ta the news and Margo had plaster in his hands. That stuff can kill someone. it started off fairly normal but as Margarito's hands sweat then it hardens. Feel sorry for Cotto that he had to put up with the piece of **** and get called a quitter. His career could be gone because of that absolute arsehole Margarito, what a piece of ****.

At the risk of sounding pessimistic but I'm not sure the Khan fight tells us much. Once Barrera had the cut it was never really a contest.
He looked better in defence but the key question of how good his chin is was never tested as Barrera could barely see him let alone hit him.
Bad loss for Maccerinelli - man his opponent was lazy. Just let Enzo hit him for 9 rounds then KOed him.

Khan wins to once again make him the greatest fighter on Earth

How about fighting known boxers that aren't 5+ years past their prime?

And Enzo's a joke. He's fighting part-timers and still losing.

Wasn't expecting Khan to win tbh so well done.

Title shot for Khan? Then we'll see him fight someone at their best and finally see if he's good enough, I think not though sadly.

Enzo is a joke but it's alright, the bloke who beat him was born in England so we're claiming him as ours! I met some Enzo fans who I saw at the Haye fight, they blamed me, reckon I'm bad luck :D

I went last night in full Mexican attire with some lads, well 2 had Pakistan flags but the rest of us were there with sombreros, ponchos and Maracas.

Khan is a prick. I've read loads of interviews from him after, he didn't pay Marco any respect or mention the cut. obviously they could have stopped the fight in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd but that would have seen Khan not get a win so they waited. You just had to look at the reception of the 2 fighters last night to see who is respected.

I think Khan is now mandatory for Juan Manuel Marquez. If that fight happens Khan's career is over. Frank Warren might take it to get one big payday and whilst Khan might last longer than against prescott because he is with the best trainer in the world and one who knows Marquez well, he will be fighting a guy who is pound for pound arguably the best fighter on the planet and Khan has no punch resistance.

Anyway much better things on the way
Carl Froch is fighting Jermain Taylor, this is the test that will show how good Froch is. If he wins he can really be regarded as world class and back up his mouth. Tyson Fury is on the undercard too. The most hyped fighter in the U.K :D

Ricky's taking on Pacman. If Hatton wins it will be huge, most aren't tipping him but unlike against Mayweather where I expected him to lose (before the last month where I bought the hype ;)) I believe he'll win in an absolutely cracking fight.

and David Haye has been in negotiations with Wladimir Klitschko for months now. I believe it will happen.

I didn't bother with the Kahn event, for two reasons: One, I'm not as interested in Kahn as I am in Hatton and two, events held in the States are so much better vaule: you get some fights from England (or a Prizefighter tournament) and then it's over to the States for more great boxing, before you get to the main event. So you get around eight hours for your money, compared to around half that for events set in England.

So, Hatton v Pacman draws near: another ?15. Damn Sky Box Office! Anyway, is this one likely to last the distance, or at least go quite a long way and what's the undercard like? I know it's an American event, so you get a hell of a lot of boxing for your money, compared to those held over here.

Somebody give me a good stream for the Froch vs Taylor fight tonight. Joe i'm looking at you.

Sorry haha if only I was on. I missed it as well, can't believe the TV blackout, oh well Froch, what a performance!

Hatton-Pacman will be class, cracking undercard from the UK and states as well although Kirkland got arrested again so he won't be on it.

My mate's birthday on Saturday so we'll be out on the lash in liverpool but I plan on popping into some pub at some point in the night to see how our Richard's getting on. Got a good feeling about Saturday.

And that Froch finish was absolutely epic. Epically epic.

And I managed to miss it. Bloody typical! Still, there are highlights this weekend, aren't there?

What time does the boxing actually start on saturday, i know the coverage starts at ten, but i just want to watch the actual hatton fight, not all the crap before.
