Champions League T20 2013

While I agree with your point, War, I would like to point out that playing with and against international players makes domestic players learn a whole lot and improve their game which helps the players themselves and the ultimately the nation given that it raises the level of sport played by the domestic cricketers but again, for that to happen, you will want the domestic players to get enough chances to play with and against the international stars.

Boy! I have never watched Broom bat like that, not even close to that. Never, ever!

Although the Heat and the Scorchers haven't played well, they have been absolutely decimated by injuries and IPL losses. To put it into perspective i'll show the best XIs of each team if all players were available.

Scorchers

Hussey
S. Marsh
M. Marsh
Katich
Voges
Triffit
Agar
Coulter-Nile
Cummins
Thomas
Beer/Hogg

Heat

Watson
Pomersbach
Burns
Christian
Lynn
Perera
Cutting
Vettori
Johnson
Harris
Hartley

Not bad.

Blind Haters, Blind Haters everywhere :rolleyes

I don't know why you are calling him a "blind hater"? What he is saying is absolutely true. If I have to choose between CSK and India, it will be a no brainer and I will go for the Indian team.

Any commentary on the CLT20 song this time by Mika Singh. IMO, has to be one of the worst things I have ever heard ! Probably cost cutting by hiring this guy

Elucidate :rolleyes

And then I'll put forward why I mentioned CSK..

There are several other IPL Franchise, then why CSK? Cant make it more clear buddy. MS.Dhoni, R.Ashwin and Jadeja are only an integral part of the indian team who play for CSK. Vijay gets occasional oppartunities. I dont understand why people say CSK players only play for India. C'mon there is a limit for everything. Already our country is politically divided, regional politics are always there but we should not continue with them, lets eradicate the regional politics atleast. I am not here to fight or abuse, i just dont like people always pointing fingers at my hometown for anything and everything.

Yeah.. That is how you take it when I mention CSK, everytime? :facepalm

If you read it again, I was replying to War that how cricket cannot be a franchise club based game. CSK was used here just because it is the most popular and most loved team in the league, yes you heard me correct. And the point was that just like it maybe opposite in football where people have a dream to get in Man Utd, because the the sport is so much club centric (and here I use United because it is one of the best in England).

I could have used any other name, 'cause personally I am indifferent towards these IPL teams. But how on earth you come up with these regional politics rubbish is beyond me.

And again, I am no CSK hater :thumbs Infact, I'm not sure how someone can hate a team..

guys 2 be fair csk still have many supporters i'm in the uk and csk have fans here of all places, where few support and watch IPL
Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo!KKR all the way!!!!:yes:yes:yes:):):):)

Great innings by Broom but my god that bowling was absolutely atrocious, looked like Otago were playing an associate team. I know the Aussie teams have injuries and are missing players but come on, full tosses followed by half volleys then more full tosses. What on earth do these guys do in the nets? As I have been asking for years on end now where are the yorkers? I think we are starting to see a lot of problems with the bowlers in T20, most of them just bowl a line and length and hope the batsman skews them into the air for a catch. Very lazy stuff .

Yeah it was terrible from the Scorchers. It was a mix of reasons I can think of. It was probably more of the 2nd or 3rd best line up. With Coulter Nile and Johnson not being in.

But also with your point about not bowling Yorkers, some reason many people in Australia think it's a good idea to bowl low full tosses as it's harder to hit. I never got that theory myself. Especially on smaller grounds in India and also the bats nowadays are so good.

On that pitch it was pretty quick and a bit of bounce (compared to most Indian wickets). Surely they would have been better throwing a few short ones in there.

Well he is a idiot role model for the batsmen who like to leave the pitch before the match starts..He finds idiotic authentic ways to get out in the pavillion...even Sir Don Bradman woud be shy how vijay has got such useless geuine skills to hit the ball right into the hands of the fielder with 100% accuracy.
