Nice knock by Raina. I too think Parthiv should make way for Vidyut or someone similar, maybe even open with Dhoni and bring Badri up the order and have another bowler.

But we dont need to make too many changes we just have to perform better. Everyone has the potential.

Why wasn't Murali Vijay automatically selected? He was selected to represent India in a Test Match just less then a year ago. Thought it would've been a no-brainer.

They are rating Parthiv too much imo.With Parthiv's consistent failures,Vijay will the make the XI in the next game hopefully.

Our bowling has become a really formidable unit now.
Tyagi,Jakati,Balaji,Murali,Albie( a bit costly,but has taken some crucial wickets in recent games),Oram(hes improving day by day.Wasnt that tidy in the last game though).
Our middle really needs to click if we need to reach the semis.We cant rely on Hayden,Badri and Raina for every game.If they fail to make big scores,we will fail miserably in the game.
We need Albie and Dhoni to regain their form.Dhoni isnt very far from making a big score imo.He always scores a big knock when hes criticised.If Albie starts smashing all round the park consistently,we'll look deadly.

Tyagi, Balaji, Jakati and Murali have really impressed in this tournament. Albie needs to hit the straps. Oram is decent enough. And yes, our middle order is the worry. We fixed Badri by sending him higher. Now Dhoni needs to fire and hopefully, Morkel fires too.

Replace Oram with George Bailey. He hasn't done much with bat nor ball so we might as well beef up the batting. Or we could go with Ntini, depending on what we want.

We need to try out Bailey and Ntini somewhere in the lane.These guys like we all know have loads of potentials.Maybe its time to unleash Bailey in place of Oram in the match against Kings Xi Punjab.Ntini keeps on saying interviews that he eagerly waiting for a chance to win a game for his team.Maybe they try him out soon.We cant do experiments in semis and finals.

Albie is yet to fire.Goni shouldnt be playing next game.
We must return to our old lineup,with only one change-Bailey in,Oram out.
Vijay must be in the XI and Badri should bat at no.5 next to Dhoni,because Dhoni is batting quite settled at no.4.We shouldnt drop him down.
