lovely bot crushing going on:

End of Over 56 (10 runs). Maple Briefs: 439-0, runrate=7.84
Fergus 10-0-81-0
Armstrong* 216 (177 balls)
Wainwright 210 (167 balls)

End of Over 63 (4 runs). The Blind Society: 267-3, runrate=4.24
Calderwood 15-1-40-1
Stearman* 121 (95 balls)
Mavuso 20 (60 balls)

Last Wicket: Gomez c. Hankey b. Brydon 58 (FOW: 182/3)
Stearman absolutely destroying them. This is a brilliant innings. Haishen and Gomez go fifties too, and Mavuso still out there which is nice. Brookes and Bonner to come, so 400 should be crossed easily if everyone chips in.

End of Over 133 (2 runs). Raiders Eleven: 937-2, runrate=7.05
Alshaun 37-0-252-1
Rassie* 18 (21 balls)
Paki 1 (4 balls)

Last Wicket: Mceverley c. Naidoo b. Alshaun 489 (FOW: 935/2)

Unlucky Mcevely :( indeed a 500 was there for him

Stumps Day 1:

The Blind Society 437/8 after 110 overs (Stearman 124, Gomez 58, Bonner 56, Haishen 51, Brookes 47)
Highlights of the day were Stearman's brilliant ton, Bonner's run-a-ball fifty, and the tail fighting it out. Floors is currently on 21*, Lewis Carey made 10, and Camebridge is on 10*.

Just when it was looking bad for BB, Barrowdale breaks through and then comes the most improved player this season in Mohammed grabbed 2.

Had a 212 run lead, I didn't enforce the follow on just in case he got bowled out twice in one day which didn't happen so I've made it much harder for my team to win it from here. Probably try for a 350+ lead setting my batters on aggressive.

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 169 (9 runs). Raiders Eleven: 1205-4, runrate=7.13
Naidoo 33-0-246-0
Bunt* 54 (53 balls)
Karthikeyan 105 (75 balls)

Last Wicket: Rassie lbw b. Karthikeyan 73 (FOW: 1088/4)

Another hundred for Karthikeyan :) nice chameo from Bunt too :D Rassie was unlucky to missed out his century for 2nd time :( Paki was playing good on his 43 :) though he is not in good form atm

My FC game is going brill!
But before I fill you in, you should know this guy has 1 Strong bat, 1 Prof bat, and a few Resps. He also -according to him- bats till 11.

Anyways, Green pitch, Sunny weather. We bat first, 444 a/o. Pretty solid score.

Then we bowl. All the bowlers chip in to reduce him to 293 a/o. :D He told me he had set his bats to attacking orders and to aim for 700, but as it turns out, he would be following on. Strong bat made just 28, Prof made a brisk 96.
Since he was following on in the same day, he couldn't adjust his orders to tell his batsmen to bat cautiously and go for a draw. Instead, they slip to 162/6 at Stumps Day 2!! Strong bat made 20, Prof made 44!

I'm going for all out attack now to take those last 4 wickets. I'm certain he's set to orders to tell them to bat defensively. I've also got my bats at their natural OD orders to chase down the score he'll set me quickly. Sunny day, should be a good day for us!! :D

34.1 W Carey to Ranatunga
Carey has got Ranatunga in front of all three and he will have to walk back to the pavilion.

34.2 W Carey to Calderwood
It ain't over till the fat lady sings. Unfortunately for Calderwood, she's just sung a whole Puccini aria. Clean bowled. Arrivederci!

35.5 W Floors to Bolder
Bolder moves across his stumps to an inswinger and pays the price. No hesitation from the umpire there, the finger goes straight up.

38.6 W Carey to Brydon
Oh dear, bowled by a full toss, that should really have been given the treatment.

Took just 6 overs to skittle his tail, skipper Lewis Carey leading from the front. All out for 164, lead of 13.

And with just 14 to win, Haishen and Holmshaw too their time. Haishen hit a six as we got the score in 6.1 overs :)

And that's the end of the match. The Blind Society won by 10 wickets.
