Chasing aggressively on the last day, I should get it because Nicholls is on fire. I was never gonna lose this match but their second innings definately took me by surprise with one batsmen scoring 170

Fighting Mongooses won by 8 wickets.

Fighting Mongooses were on top from the beginning, crippling Brouhaha for no first innings points, Cable devastating with six wickets.

They then got off to a good start, before the middle order collapsed and gave Brouhaha a hope of being only 100 behind. However, Hamed rallied the troops and guided the tail strongly, taking the score from 6/238 to 309 with an attacking 50.

In spite of a second innings resurgence, Brouhaha were simply no match for Cable's continuing amazing performance. Falken and Botha batted resiliently, but too few batsmen assisted them. They were only able to set a paltry target early on day 3, chased down with gusto.

Brouhaha XI 147 (64.4)
Cable 6/13 (13.4)

Fighting Mongooses 309 (84.1)
Barton 78
Hamed 58
Dodge 56
Lewington 3/61 (18.0)

Brouhaha XI 223 (77.1)
Botha 62 n.o.
Falken 55
Cable 6/53 (22.1)

Fighting Mongooses 2/62 (16.2)

Points
Fighting Mongooses: 20
Brouhaha XI: 3

Me too finished the match :D

End of Over 16 . player:11 -10, runrate=0.70 (1st Inn: 23-10)

Victory by 7 wickets and some solid ratings for my worst possible side

The Top Class Kids
Top Order: feeble
Middle Order: feeble
Lower Order: worthless
Seam Bowling: feeble
Spin Bowling: feeble

Need nine wickets from 71 overs. that's one every almost 8 overs from now.

End of Over 17 (Maiden). Raiders Eleven: 32-1, runrate=1.88 (1st Inn: 154-10)
Trail by 493 runs. (Record Breakers 451-10 & 228-2 dec)
Chibale 3-2-2-1
Dixon* 14 (62 balls)
Finlyson 2 (9 balls)
Last Wicket: Mceverley lbw b. Chibale 13 (FOW: 30/1)

yeah, when you field mediocre and competent players it's hard to get worse than feeble... and it doesn't take long to acquire a list like that.

Suren, I have to ask, what is the fitness hit for a player scoring 600-odd?

7 more required!!!!!!!

End of Over 29 (Maiden). Raiders Eleven: 63-3, runrate=2.17 (1st Inn: 154-10)
Trail by 462 runs. (Record Breakers 451-10 & 228-2 dec)
Chibale 9-5-12-3
Finlyson* 18 (50 balls)
Paki 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Karthikeyan b. Chibale 0 (FOW: 63/3)

He was sublime before this match's start. He went to Lively yesterday and now he is in invigorated. :) I just can't imagine that my batters have played fully for almost two days. :p I pity them.

HAve a look zorax.................

And that's the end of the match. Record Breakers won by 450 runs.

End of Over 35 (1 runs). Raiders Eleven: 75-10, runrate=2.14 (1st Inn: 154-10)
Trail by 450 runs. (Record Breakers 451-10 & 228-2 dec)
Chibale 11-5-20-7
Waters* 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Thysse c. Naykutse b. Chibale 0 (FOW: 75/10)

Fabulous win for my team against a much better, but tired, team.

They batted first and declared on 352-2 (Blom 162, Delgado 145*).

I batted and was bowled out for 409 (Stiles 162, Delgado 38-7-119-4)

They batted again and Alder just destroyed them, 11.2-4-22-9. They were bowled out for 54, with me winning by an innings and 3 runs.

Their team was based on Blom and Delgado, a keeper and an all-rounder. They both got big scores in their first innings but were knackered after mine (Delgado bowling 38 overs). Their lack of batting depth hit them hard.

Not a massive start on a Flat pitch but Fontaine is on Normal for the Aggressive batsmen to play around so not to bothered about the run rate

End of Over 9: 47-0, runrate=5.22
Mistry 5-0-23-0
James* 20 (22 balls)
Fontaine 26 (32 balls)

Hoping to get at least 350 if James (My form batsmen) is in there around the 35 over mark expect 400

James' Season so Far
First Class
683 runs @ 113.83, TS 475

One Day
255 runs @ 85.00, TS 86*

He lost his opening spot due to some transfer market moves but is now taking on a team which beat me in my noob season looking for revenge
