My team is clueless against UmerXI. His quality top order is killing my bowlers,

Hamed 8-0-42-0
Jeffrey* 77 (94 balls)
Everett 17 (25 balls)
Last Wicket: Burke c. Walton b. Love 82 (FOW: 188/2)

Btw, he has quality seam attack too. :(

Got murdered against Briggs team. First in the bowling 2/321 and then all out for 123 Quintus and Germon both getting joint high score of 33 the rest failed.

Baggy Blues Briggs Bullets

Middle Order: feeble competent
Lower Order: worthless abysmal

End of Over 49: 226-10, runrate=4.61
Leonard 9-1-42-4
Hitchman* 1 (1 balls)

48.5 W Leonard to Singh lali
A good decision to make Karthikeyan stand up to the stumps for Leonard's bowling, the reward is a stumping. OUT!
48.4 4 Leonard to Singh lali
Thrashed through the off side by Singh lali. The power and placement was excellent and Mceverley has no chance of cutting that off.
48.3 1 Leonard to Hitchman
Drop and run. Simple game.
48.2 W Leonard to Key
The slower ball from Leonard caused Key to loft an easy catch to mid-on.
48.1 W Leonard to Youngs
Good length ball outside off stump, nipping in off the wicket. Youngs moves forward and tries to square drive, but only manages a big inside edge onto the stumps.

End of Over 48: 221-7, runrate=4.60, reqrunrate=8.50 (237-10)
Shipp 9-0-48-2

Last Wicket: Gilks lbw b. Shipp 0 (FOW: 220/7)

47.6 1 Shipp to Youngs
Steered to point and a quick single taken. Leonard waddled around to field that one, almost like a penguin.
47.5 W Shipp to Gilks
Gone! Good ball on the stumps, Gilks trying to defend to the on side, misses the line of the ball and gets hit on the pad in line with the stumps. A loud appeal and given.
47.4 . Shipp to Gilks
Shortish ball just outside off stump, angling back in a little. Left safely alone and through to Karthikeyan.
47.3 W Shipp to Poole
A ferocious in-swinger. Poole had absolutely no chance. Bowling from the top drawer.
47.2 1 Shipp to Singh lali
Flicked around to mid wicket.
47.1 1 Shipp to Poole
Great bowling, great shot, but great fielding restricts Poole to one run. Who says cricket isn't great?

End of Over 47: 218-5, runrate=4.64, reqrunrate=6.67 (237-10)
Leonard 9-1-37-1
Poole* 2 (3 balls)
Singh lali 82 (102 balls)

Last Wicket: Aziz b. Leonard 36 (FOW: 215/5)

46.6 1 Leonard to Poole
The batsman manages to pull the short ball to deep mid wicket, but it's mistimed and he will only pick up one.
46.5 1 Leonard to Singh lali
They'll steal a quick single off the medium pacer there.
46.4 1 Leonard to Poole
Well forward, stroked out to mid wicket as they scramble for the single.
46.3 . Leonard to Poole
Fullish and swinging away, left well alone.

What a match it was :happy i won :) it was amiracle from Leonard :d

End of Over 15: 106-2, runrate=7.07

Westrop shoulders arms to a ball on a good length. The ball swings back late and bounces over the stumps through to Govender.
24.3 . Nelsen to Westrop
Good solid forward defensive.
24.2 1 Nelsen to Plaatjies
They really should have that extra slip. Edged to third man for a single.
24.1 W Nelsen to Hawkins
Oh, that's plumb in front! Swung in nicely, then pitched and straightened down the line of middle and off. Hawkins departs shaking his head as the fielding side celebrate!

Hawkins* 5 (14 balls)
Westrop 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Royle c & b. Daly 0 (FOW: 66/5)

Well outside leg stump, padded away by Royle.
23.4 . Daly to Royle

Two runs, bad misfield at mid on allows the second.

End of Over 23 (1 runs, 1lb). Rotorheads: 64-3, runrate=2.78

Kerwin* 26 (59 balls)
Hawkins 5 (14 balls)

22.6 . Nelsen to Hawkins
Bit of lift, over the stumps, bat withdrawn.
22.5 . Nelsen to Hawkins
He only managed to play that one out to cover.
22.4 lb1 Nelsen to Kerwin
Kerwin back and looks to flick that to the leg side, misses, and the ball pops up off his pads into space on the off side. Not what he intended but the same end result.
22.3 1 Nelsen to Hawkins
Pushed around to the region of deep mid wicket for the single.
22.2 . Nelsen to Hawkins
Beaten! Slightly short of driveable length and just outside the off stump. Hawkins has a stab at it, but misses.
22.1 . Nelsen to Hawkins
If we had a live audio feed we'd hear some unnecessary words from Hawkins after that bouncer.

Hawkins* 4 (9 balls)
Kerwin 26 (58 balls)

Forward, stroked back down the pitch, Daly fielding.
21.4 1 Daly to Kerwin
Full delivery, slapped to deep mid wicket.
21.3 . Daly to Kerwin
Well, I'm not a fan of the reverse sweep and Kerwin's embarrassing attempt to play the shot is a good example of why.
21.2 2 Daly to Kerwin
Good running put the sweeper under pressure. In the end, an easy two.
21.1 . Daly to Kerwin
Straight at mid wicket who throws in sharply. No run.

Hawkins* 3 (1 balls)
Kerwin 23 (54 balls)

19.5 . Daly to Kerwin
Tossed up, Kerwin tries to turn it away to the on side, gets the leading edge along the ground to point. No run.
19.4 . Daly to Kerwin
A beautiful example of spin bowling by Daly, it has beaten the batsman all ends up.
19.3 3 Daly to Hawkins
A nice shot by Hawkins into the vacant outfield, Knight chases hard and hauls it in just before the rope as the batsmen run three.
19.2 W Daly to Nahal
I can't believe it! Govender caught it in one glove! Terrific wicket keeping there.
19.1 W Daly to Stroud
That's plumb! The ball stayed low and struck the pad in line. The umpire was left with no other choice but to give him.

What a collapse! My bowlers are on FIRE!

Lancaster 21-0-117-0
Sodhi* 33 (24 balls)
Gayle 63 (61 balls)

Last Wicket: Unsworth b. Quailey 29 (FOW: 473/6)
Hopefully Gayle can bat on and get his maiden ton instead of getting out in the 90's this time. The tailender is getting runs aswell.

New recruit Vine got the openers to break the partnership and after that a major collapse happened. Wanted to bat first so I could skip the bouns point and then draw the game by batting for ages in the 2nd dig. But lost the toss, so going to have to try for as many runs as possible and then throw some part timers in.

marto 10/278 (Vine 3-50, Neil 3-57)

Futcher 91 (98 balls)

It isn't going to well for me but if they keep on batting I might force a draw, which is what I wanted - this team is coming first.

Mmm, looking for my first FC win.

My Day 1 sucked.

305 a/o on an uneven pitch and cloudy/humid weather. Stearman the man amongst boys with 169*, more than half the team total! Wicketkeeper Brookes got 64, the only other notable contribution.

In reply, skipper Lewis Carey took a wicket and put us in a good position with them at 19/1, only for numbers 2 and 3 to string together at 93 run partnership to take them too 102/1 in 30 overs at the end of the day and in a position of strength.

I'll need to take wickets and take them quick if I am to keep a first innings lead here.
