Allen 5-2-15-1
Leadbeater* 16 (26 balls)
Windsor 7 (19 balls)

My respectable bowler just got a 47k wages batsmen :p

End of Over 21 (1 runs). Caprica FC: 59-2, runrate=2.81
Overs left today: 89
Fillery 2-0-2-1
Makhosetive* 33 (60 balls)
Kopano 0 (1 balls)

Last Wicket: Allen c. Francois b. Fillery 24 (FOW: 59/2)

Fillery getting amongst the wickets.

End of Over 63 (2 runs). Caprica FC: 179-3, runrate=2.84
Overs left today: 47
Wotton 13-0-52-1
Hamlin* 1 (10 balls)
Makhosetive 73 (184 balls)

Last Wicket: Kopano c. Joyce b. Adri 67 (FOW: 177/3)

Adri picked up the wicket, good timing, at 2/177 they were going along a bit too comfortably for mine.

Time for Fillery to step up and get rid of them before they reach 400.

4/213... sitting here thinking, well I guess the strategies worked.

oh wait, we bowled first?

Mentone Tigers CC 29 (16.0)
Wharrad 8-1-20-9

Ended up getting them all out for 323, in the last over of the day.

Time to pile on a few, but will have to make the deccy at the perfect time if I'm going to have time to bowl them out again, and chase.

Dear oh dear couldn't even survive a session.

Baggy Blues The People's Army
Top Order: proficient wonderful
Middle Order: sensational remarkable
Lower Order: abysmal competent
Seam Bowling: quality phenomenal
Spin Bowling: mediocre wonderful
Fielding: feeble feeble

The openers batted 10.1 overs for 18; Ray battled on to face 16 overs for 8.

In contrast, I had a worthless/mediocre tailender bat unbeaten for 32 overs against wonderful rated pace on a green seamer. I guess there's a little bit of proportionality in that, because phenomenal is so many levels above.

End of Over 21 (6 runs). FS Eagles CC: 88-1, runrate=4.19 (1st Inn: 231-10)
Trail by 191 runs. (Off Drive 138-10 & 372-5 dec)
Overs left today: 89
Tau 1-0-6-0
Stringfellow* 7 (8 balls)
Korkie 36 (63 balls)
Last Wicket: Mpumelele c. Hluphizwe b. Perry 27 (FOW: 67/1)

Very well cocked it up with my setting of the order! Set my declaration target at 370 thinking it will declare when I'm 370 ahead! Not when my actual score reaches 370. So I have basically just handed him a victory which sucks because we are the only two non bot players in the league.

Gonna have to try and hand it to him in the reverse fixture.

End of Over 10: 50-3, runrate=5.00
Buchan 5-0-25-1
Vidale* 15 (17 balls)
Mulvaney 1 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Spillane lbw b. Buchan 15 (FOW: 48/3)

Opened with a spinner.... But its worked. :p

Jakesterrs losing wickets fast, but the run rates still decent I guess.

I was not expecting this start, destroyed his wonderful top order.

End of Over 8: 11-4, runrate=1.38
Mampe 4-2-2-2
Longthorn* 1 (8 balls)
Mabudafhasi 3 (9 balls)
Last Wicket: Downes b. Mampe 1 (FOW: 7/4)

After being 27/4 this isn't too bad. My best two batsmen just couldn't get his guys away.

End of Over 33: 106-6, runrate=3.21
Fife 7-2-21-0
Rogers* 8 (20 balls)
Moodley 4 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Crouch Run Out 38 (FOW: 102/6)

His best bowler is only just coming in so stacking the lower order hasn't really paid off.

Well the Kiwi air has done my openers some good. :D

chart

Started off to a flyer!

Spare a thought for my poor exceptional Mr. Soares.

End of Over 20: 233-4, runrate=11.65
Fitzgerald 4-0-55-1
Soares* 98 (58 balls)
Bartle 21 (7 balls)
Last Wicket: Leigh c. Shilowa b. Goulding 1 (FOW: 208/4)
19.6 2 Fitzgerald to Bartle
Worked away through midwicket, Bartle will pick up two.
19.5 4 Fitzgerald to Bartle
Wonderful timing, away through the off side for four.
19.4 4 Fitzgerald to Bartle
Fitzgerald didn't disguise the slower ball well enough and Bartle easily lifts the ball over the bowler and on towards the boundary for four runs.
19.3 1 Fitzgerald to Soares
Great shot by Soares and a superb piece of fielding by cover means it's only a single. Good cricket all round.
19.2 1 Fitzgerald to Bartle
Runs it away fine for a quick single.
19.1 6 Fitzgerald to Bartle
Goes for a big hook and it's top edged over Shilowa's head for six.
