Exactly. It isn't perfect. But it is a direct improvement over human judgement and error and supplements the umpires. Why is that too hard to comprehend? Its only flawed by the area of uncertainty which is natural and ever-present - of which humans could never correctly predict anyway. Yet it is still an improvement for gods sake.

No one says DRS is perfect, it's called an improvement. Obviously it's not going to be the standard of missile defense systems (maybe India's though?) when their budget is ridiculous.

Actually Hawkeye is far more accurate than any missile guidance system. Even visually- or radar-guided munitions are not accurate to within (anywhere near) an inch. And cruise missiles use GPS, and can be off by tens of metres.

Righto Winston. Even if that was the case, hawkeye still isn't of the same standard as missile defence systems.

Yeah we can argue all day but if DRS was so perfect I am sure military institutions all over the world will be queuing to get it for their missiles and missile defence projects.
