"Connection Lost" Problem - HELP!!

I emailed Codemaster's about this problem. Here is what they replied -

"Thank you for submitting your recent request to Codemasters Customer Services concerning International Cricket 2010.

Apologies for the troubles that you are encountering, however the XBox 360 version of the game is ran by XBox Live when it comes to the online element, which we have no control over I'm afraid.
All we can advise is keep trying, as it maybe that their servers are busy, due to the release of the game last week.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

If you need further assistance, please reply to this email and INCLUDE THIS LINE IN YOUR REPLY:-

Then I called up Microsoft about this, they told me that there is not problem with XBOX LIVE, problem is with the Codemaster's server.

:crying

I'm glad you have realised what is happening Virender. I hope you realise now this connection message was the problem we had during our games. I felt at the time you thought as if it was me quitting. :)

I thought it for a second but I trust PC members(exceptions are always there). If I get a complete game then I'll be like - :banana2

Haha, yes. After our two games, and my failed game before that I've given up tbh.

I had stored the game on a flash drive, someone told me that storing the game on flash drive causes it to hang for a 1-2 second due to which it may lose connection, when I told him that it always lost connection when the ball was near the boundary, he replied that its 70% sure that the flash drive is the problem because it loses connection when its near a particualar area.
I tried 2 games online but I had my opponents like 7/7 of 4 overs and 36/9 of 4 overs (both were 5 over games)..both of them left the game. I confirmed it by seeing their SPORTSMANSHIP when they joined me again.

I guess my problem is solved now, anyone fancy a game?

How do you store an online game on flash drive? I am not sure I follow you.

Bad news across the board as far as IC10 online is concerned...

1. Connection issues (Lost Connection) on both PS3 and Xbox Live
2. Batting apparently way too easy online especially the use of lofted shots
3. Quitters ruling the roost once more as the folks playing against quitters don't get a win

Virendersewagh I am facing the same problem on PS3 when the ball crosses the boundary it just stays there followed by the "connection lost" message so its either a problem with our connections (using 2mbps in Delhi) or the codemasters server

Ive played 4 games, 3 were completes and one was Connection lost when my opponent hit a six, the screen froze when the ball hit the sight screen

For good XBOX Live gaming 256kbps is the minimum, I have 1mbps, lets hope we get a solution for this.

Virender Sehwag added 0 Minutes and 38 Seconds later...

That means he's facing the same problem. There is no problem with your connection as you've got 3 completed games.

That means he's facing the same problem.

After typing the message I have played 4 games and the longest one has run is 4 balls... I think we all should switch back to AC 09 :-
