But if the ports are not open you shouldn't even be able to connect in the first place. If you are able to connect and start a game then connection is lost it should be server issue. I am referring to lilas' case.

Who knows for sure? I am giving everything a try at the moment. I just hope that it works.

After typing the message I have played 4 games and the longest one has run is 4 balls... I think we all should switch back to AC 09 :-

Dude the same problem is there on PS3 too.

People from UK can play IC2010 on XBOX Live and PSN with no problem, its just that people from Asia are facing the problem.(I don't know about anyone outside asia facing the same problem).

I am able get matches easily, I also lose connection easily.

Oh ok... yup in that case AC09 may well be the way out. By the way who supports the gaming servers (Codies or Sony PSN) and for how long? I mean can I still play AC09 online 2 years down the line? There has got to be end of life for a particular online gaming server, isn't it?

AC09 - Unplayable offline but great online

IC10 - Pretty decent offline and apparently lot of issues (connection & gameplay) online

Hopefully IC11 - Outstanding offline and superb online

Lets hope trickstar,codemasters do a patch fast and fix this for us all. My guess is they spent most of the time working on the offline game and did not have much time to do the online game. Lets trust in trickstar and hope they come to the rescue soon.spy:banana2

It is for everyone who lives outside UK. I assume you live in India, its bound to happen with you.


I've got a way to some how stop this problem.
If you and your opponnent just play grounded shots(no lofted shots) then you'll be able to get a full game.
I do not understand this, we can play full game while playing just grounded shots and as soon as we loft the ball we'll surely get a disconnection.
Is codies forcing people outside UK to play proper cricketing shots? LOL
And how would you convince your opponent to not to play a lofted shot?


(I and Wee Cooper tried this in a 5 over game and it worked absolutely fine)

the problem is coming from your routers as i played someone from the uk & got the same error you need to open all your ports & problem sorted

I've opened all the required ports, if the problem is with the router then why does it occur only when the ball is going to the boundary?
I've also tried it with two other modems and the problem is the same.
