Console Patch 3 Release?

The recent England matches got me remembering I owned DBC14. It's a shame that the patch hasn't come out yet. It was almost a great Cricket game.

Hopefully the next edition will be better for bowling, without having to learn what all the skills mean and sort it out ourselves! It'd be great for the game to play like proper cricket out of the box.

Where can I find the notes of what is icluded in patch 3?

You can find that in copy paste form here. Worth noting that the modding stuff and Steam cloud are PC only out of that list.

This is all great but the fact that the console patch is still not out, and Ross's quote in jest in a previous thread that "it will definitely be out before Christmas" looking more and more unlikely (starting to make it look like OnLive's iOS patch), it seems there are only two possibilities:
1. Platform holders are screwing BA and BA really needs to re-think its agreement or whatever they have in place so that next time around it doesn't take so long to release a patch
2. This is how it generally is with smaller game companies who don't have a bug budget and established relationships with MS, Sony, and we just never hear of things like this because seldom are companies as transparent to its community as BA.
Hoping it isn't 2 but what do I know.

...I'm just looking forward to Christmas Day where I can sit down around a warm fire, a glistening Christmas tree and bask in the afterglow of a festive dinner and play co-op on console with my brother, @blockerdave.

The invaluble conversations and experiences we gained...

I'm looking forward to the new patch, but I'm loving the game just as it is. The PS4 version is a lot better than PS3, quicker loading, smoother etc, but there is just so much to enjoy. The amount of thought, complexity and attention to detail compared with every other cricket game ever to have come out is astonishing. It's a shame people get so caught up in the smaller things when there is so much to admire. I imagine the next version of the game will be quite a step up from where we are now in so many ways and it's so exciting! After a lifetime (yes, I'm 40 and have been playing cricket games since Graham Gooch on the C64, still one of the best cricket games ever for playability) of general disappointment to have a game that ticks so many boxes and then to have the commitment of a second installment guaranteed is fantastic. I would love the opportunity to support Big Ant as a beta tester on the next version, any chance of that happening Ross?

Graham Gooch was an obsession for me back in the day, I bought my first computer based on wanting to play that game and, later, Alan Border Cricket.
