Crick4life(Ravi) ODI AI patch Ver 3

thanx sound really good i wil post a review aftaer ive played with it

ive played 11 overs with it

im WI against NZ score:88/2

genrally quite easy to bat ive got all these runs by playing the ball on merit. but slogging can be quite hard so NZ should come back at me in the slog overs.

One problem, the ball tends to go to fine leg wen you get an edge (looks very weird)

this seems very good but even if you have abt 3 wickets left you could bat for abt 30 overs as its quite easy so maybe it needs to be made harder

the key to this ai patch is playing the ball on merit and playing to your strenghts

i will post a review abt bowling and how the match went

Appreciate your review and guess what every time I bat as NZ I seem to score quicker too. I then had to switch to a different team and bat to tweak .

I am more than sure you will not last 30 overs with the last 3 wickets, why 3 even the last 4-5 wickets you wont be able to last too long as the tail does not bat like the top order.

ravi i used ure patch, its really good man, but i get ALOT of runouts :(:(... and im using sams run out fix

I don't know what to say really, if you are using the run out fix exe to bowl they you should ideally not have run outs. I don't have that problem though.

Nice patch ravi... man I used it and it's good and yea I do get a lot of runouts even with using sams run out fix too...

The odd edges, runouts, CPU batting, human batting pretty much everything that was a bit short last time around has been tweaked in the attached file. Hopefully this patch will ensure longevity.

Please ensure you also install the field setup file using Graphics editor and this patch is for ODIs at hard level only.

Good work Ravi, you are very smart in sorting out the issues.I will check this patch and give you review.

review part 2

im abt 22 overs in to the first innings now and ive found that its quite hard to score in the middle overs, which is very realistic im abt 160-70 though stil 2 wickets down lara and sarwan both really settled, even thought they are settled its hard to play the slog shots, i hav attempted many and have only got 1 six to my name, maybe i need 2 get used o the patch b4 starting to slog

one other thing can you change it so that coming down the wicket is more effective, at the moment its very hard to play a convincing shot when advancing, it usually falls just short of the close in fielders. As i cant play good shots coming down the wicket for the right hander ive had to lay into the legside (coz you cant play the coverdrive with the righthander without useing the advance key)

Slog will not work for sure atleast not every time. All the ground shots will work as long as you can time it well. 160-170 is a lot of runs for 22 overs  I don't think I have scored that many in 22 overs at all with this patch.

Again the advance shots will come off as long as you can time it I think. Wonder why you are not able to play the cover drives, I play it to those balls pitched outside off stump with a bit of width. Quite naturally the patch is designed not to be able to play a cover drive when the ball is pitching on the leg side or the middle stump. I guess play couple of games to get used to being able to score at a healthy rate.

Thanks for your feedback anyways. :)

Something that I did not do before was resetting CPU batting in 50 overs after the new configs. Now with the tougher challenge of scoring using aerial shots CPU ODI file had to be changed. As ever attached is the next version of the patch Ver 4.

Though I have no complains with your previous Test Patch, I would like to know whether you are making a new one?

For some reason I missed out on noticing this post, sorry about that. Yes there will be a new test cricket patch when our online Ashes series starts in another few days.

Yes The Champ, looking forward to making it more or less like 3 rpo. Hopefully will be able to achieve that.

Then it will be great mate, i think the bat windows size too has to be increased to 2 otherwise cpu leaves the ball on stumps
