Cricket Academy Beta 0.99c crashes to desktop!

Hey guys, I've been getting a fair few pm's from people asking for the fix that HBK gave me, so I'll just put the instructions he gave me and the file here!

There is quite clearly a problem with the initial setup of profiles for a lot of people, I wonder what may be causing it?

Anyways, the instructions are as follows;

Place this save file in your 'My Documents>My Games>Cricket Academy Beta' Folder then run the game. Not very complicated at all!

Is this fix only for win8? or will it work for other versions of windows?

Thanks, that save file worked for me, hadn't previously been able to get past the profile screen. Win7 64bit 0.99c

Just got CA to work on my new laptop but it is very, very slow.

It seems to crash when it gets to the "setting up default profile" bit(from what i saw on my PC).

Use the fix in this post from this thread. Worked for me and others at fixing that particular bug.
