I'll start the thread once we get sixteen sign ups:thumbs!

You can't use this thread to get sign-ups. Yes it's alright if you just want to gauge how much interest they'll be (which you've done), but getting 16 people to sign-up here is definitely too much. Enough interest has probably already been shown for you to start the thread now.

FTR an Australia - India league doesn't really interest me, considering they're the two teams I hate the most (:p), but I'll definitely sign-up if you're short on numbers.

Oh yeah, it worked as a reminder for me(:p). Starting a thread :).

And nice to hear that you're joining if needed:).

Well. there was an easy way to rename SRC files into test cricket for cricsim right?

Eh Well, got it :D

I have gone through some thread and seen, there are mostly senior players in the squad than unexperienced players. Those players are continuous repeated and that really makes it a bit strange, to be honest. As far as I'm concerned, there should be an International tour where this veteran players play for their contury and may not be able to play domestic cricket. While they are picked, the manger of the domestic or whatever will have to look for new players.

The leagues like AfPL, NzPL, EPL etc., mostly have overseas and in line-up they have around five maximum which is probably suggesting me that, few domestic players doesn't have a role to play. If there would be just a couple recognized, it would be fair. It's just a suggestion, really.

Exactly and that is why even though I have all seniors in my league I will be implementing an idea. Just wait for the actual ODD round to start ;)

I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but in the NZPL my squads have 10 domestic and 8 international players. The line-ups are 6 domestic players and 5 international players, which I think is fine considering the depth on New Zealand players. I definitely encourage people to play lesser known players, which is why I implement a rest rule. I've also run pre-season tournaments in the past where the big players aren't involved.

If I get rid of the better New Zealand players, it'll be unrealistic having the best international players in the world playing with lesser known New Zealand players, because in RL the international players would completely dominate. I try my best to rate the lesser known New Zealand at a level where they can be competitive, but at the same time there is a difference between them and the better players like there would be in RL. I've considering dropping the amount of international players allowed in a line-up to four, but I think five works fine because it's not as feasible weakening the New Zealand players.

Having a set of players who are actually repeated, really questions me, is there any fun? I found it difficult to get used to it, really. 8 overseas is massive for any team. In a real life you don't see that much but as you said, the level of the domestic players are way too low. The performance in the real life suggest me that every player has a talent, why not just go and rate them? I know the average is calculated according to there recent performance -form- but rating them a bit, will give a balance squad?

My suggestion was, if there would be just a couple of overseas recognized surely not the world class players. As I said, there should be an International tour where players should be picked, according to their performance in the domestic leagues. The players who are picked for International tour will obviously not be there to play domestic.

Eight international player is pretty much what the IPL has isn't it? That's the only truly world wide "Premier League" in RL, and I guess me along with Riz/Iridium etc. are trying to imitate that with the 50 over format of the game, and our chosen country.

As I said above everyone in the NZPL is rated at a level where they can be competitive, for example in the latest round Michael Papps scored a hundred.

Btw I'm not sure what you mean by this:
